I'm currently taking the same course and so far I really enjoy it! Although, one con I have is the lack of subtitles. I normally like to read along as I listen. Not a huge deal breaker, but it would be helpful!

how would you compare this with the Figma for Web Designers from Flux Academy? I don't plan to do anything else apart from Web Design, so I'm not sure whether I should go for something like this which seems a bit more generic, or for something more specific like Figma for web designers from Flux, which I can only assume will teach me everything I would need to know as a web designer.
That’s a really good question! I haven’t taken the Flux Figma course, so I can’t speak on it. If it’s anything like their webflow masterclass, then it’s probably very good though

Hi, nice review ! How do you do responsive in Figma ??? This is new ?
There is a Figma plugin called Breakpoints where you can design for different screen sizes, and it lets you test responsiveness
I also feel like this class is not up to date, the figma interface is about 4 years old now
great video. knowing how to use tools like Figma, webflow, etc.. is great, but at the end of the day, they are just tools. if you don't know how or what to design, these tools won't really help you. what are your thoughts on some good courses or resources or someone to follow that teaches you more design principles and how to actually improve your design. Basically, I'm a web designer, and I'm looking to take my design to the next level. I know flux academy have a course Core Design Skills, but I feel that might be a bit too basic, considering I've been designing websites, for a couple of years, I need something a bit more advanced.
The best way I have learned to improve my design is by recreating webpages from big companies on webflow. It gives me a better understanding of stronger color selection, copy, typography, spacing, and layouts. I have a video about it coming soon :)

Not that I’m aware of. I would still pay that if I had to do it over again though.

I think it was $160 at the start.. that was maybe a year or so ago .. Now its for $300 and its just insane how much the price went up. the price is even faster than the world inflation rate lol. Now im really thinking if I really should pay $300 (which is a steep price) for a course
It was $200 USD when I paid for it. Knowing what I know now, I would definitely be willing to pay $300 for it.

Could you have jumped straight into CJ without taking Avoacademys foundation course with just Mizco course?
Mizko's course only teaches Figma, not the UX process. CJ would be very difficult without an underlying knowledge of the UX process.
