So, this is more like an intro TO a masterclass than one itself. If you were ever to produce an actual masterclass on Figma, I would be a buyer. You’re hands down the best instructor for Figma course material I’ve ever come across.
You wrapped everything I needed to know in this one video and delivered it with such finesse that exceeded all expectations. Thank you, Jesse. You are awesome.
I'm a complete newbie to Figma and after trying out various tutorials, this was the first truly beginner-friendly one I found. So easy to follow with clear commentary on each feature! :)
The interactivity at @28:00 for home going to home 2 could've also been done using the overflow scrolling feature in the prototype tab. Simply select the parent container of the face image > go to Prototype > set Overflow Scrolling to horizontal and voila. This way, you dont need to dupe the home for that functionality.
Just learned about Figma today and just from playing around with it for 20 minutes I am in LOVE!! It has some of the most used features from Illustrator but is honestly so much easier to look at, and I really love the user interface. I can tell its gonna be amazing for brainstorming layouts. Can't wait to learn more!!
For me who has been an advanced Adobe XD user for a while and need to transfer a whole project to Figma in one week, this class was a great help to get me started as fast as possible with this app...
I am a blockchain developer. I just started learning Figma to help visualize what my app should look like before writing the code. This tutorial is a great start. Thanks a lot🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks, I need this, you are an awesome teacher! I need to build upon that Google cert. When I finally get that UX interview, I'm going to mention your channel as a learning resources.
Amazing tutorial! I'm starting my first UX job and I have to work more on Figma than XD. This lesson really helped me learn a few basics quickly, since I'm proficient in XD. I paused and practiced everything taught! Great stuff bro!
Just stumbled over your video. This was a great starting point. Also I like your speed in terms of how you go through the material - just right for people with a design background. I normally do not comment on videos. Thus, thumbs up.
Fantastic content, delivery and explanation. Thank you! I have struggled to follow other classes who blab too much about things I don't understand yet, and don't give context or a little story to explain. Their videos also are 5 years old and Figma isn't static so that doesn't help me understand the latest version. I feel anyone could easily understand Figma now thanks to you. I certainly do. Please keep up the great work, it is very much appreciated!
Kudos for creating this great tutorial. I was already a Figma user. But I learned a few new things and gained a better understanding of others through your great explanations and examples. It's incredible that in ONE 30-minute video you covered what takes hours for other resources to do.
This video is so good omg, for a crash course It really show all the basic functions, then u ca' come back of you want to remember stuff. Ur way of explaining is really not overwhelming and I appreciate that❤
Actually made it before the video. Designing 8 variant in size and colors then the hovered/clicked ones. Just checked with your video if it is going to be okay. Seems to be good. :) thanks, appriciated!
Great content! Thanks. This presentation is perfect for someone who's never used Figma or has just started like me. It's nice to review the main features and learn a few things I haven't noticed yet, especially at the end with prototyping!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Jesse! This video is incredibly helpful on many accounts. I'm coming over from XD, and while there are several similarities, there are many differences. I will reference this tutorial again!
Thank you so much for the introduction on Figma. I will probably go back and review one more time, but your presentation was very pinpoint and useful. Appreciate it!
This was a great tutorial, thanks for putting it together. I found the transitions between concepts / features / controls to be a bit fast at points, I would sometimes fall behind because of this. Overall, great content.
very cool since even the official figma videos are outdated (i.e. the build it in figma series was made BEFORE VARIANTS WERE RELEASED) so thanks for this
coming from wgu and have been loving your content for grasping two of my projects. thank you for all that you've been doing. had a question though; (and you may have addresed it) where's the rest of the 5 solas?

I'm also just starting out and I agree that it was well explained.

Great tip! Thank you!
Any research or typing jobs that pays

Just starting with Figma. I’ve been through several beginner videos and this was by far the best for what I need. Thank you!

Any app for research and typing jobs that pays
This video included very useful topics that I didn't even expect in a Figma video. For example, responsive was one of them. thank you so much.
Amazing tutorial! I'm starting my first UX job and I have to work more on Figma than XD. This lesson really helped me learn a few basics quickly, since I'm proficient in XD. I paused and practiced everything taught! Great stuff bro!

Watching this on a Friday night . Great content . I was tearing my hair today trying to understand Figma and your video really helped me
Great tutorial. Thank you so much! Saved me several hours and hundreds of dollars for a class.
Thanks a lot! I am from Russia, I watch your videos and try to understand. Useful for work and improve my English. I wish you success!
This is so helpful, thank you so much !
The title is misleading. This is not a master class. But it is a really good quick overview 👍🏾
🤔 Misleading title? Or perhaps clever pun.. Beginner & Master are after all mutually exclusive..
So.. Misleading? Sure, but not to everyone
It's a master class but for beginners, It's right there in the title
This is my first Figma tutorial video, and it is fantastic. I feel inspired. Thank you.
One of the best teacher in UI/UX really worth the subscribe!

Great class. One thing I cant find is to set the anchor point to a object. I have searched and found some old cases but now new one with a solution. 🛐
Amazing video! I am starting in UX Design, and I appreciate for the explanation.
Thank you! This was the video I needed to brush up figma
Thank you, i am switching to figma today!
On the Prototyping segment make sure yal ungroup everything or else your nodes won't appear to be able to make connections.
