This year is the first edition of the Hokuto Art Program and features artists from many genres such as fine art, architecture, movies, and music. It is held in the unique landscape of Hokuto in Yamagata Prefecture, and will be a new experience that brings you into a strange world.

◼️ 清春芸術村 Kiyoharu Art Colony
西に南アルプス、北に八ケ岳、南に富士山を望むこの場所は、そのむかし清春と呼ばれていました。地図にはもう記されていないその土地の名をアーティストの創作と交流の場として蘇らせたのがここ清春芸術村です。名だたる建築家による建築のほか、春は樹齢100年にもおよぶ老樹の桜群、初夏は藤、夏は新緑、
秋は紅葉、冬は白く染まった名峰と清春芸術村のみどころは所蔵作品だけではありません。
To the West you can see the Southern Alps, to the North is the Yatsugatake Mountains, and to the South you can see Mt. Fuji. This location used to be called Kiyoharu. The artists have made this Kiyoharu Art Village to pay respects to the old name of the place. It has 100 year-old cherry blossom, wisteria, and other green trees there amongst works from well-known architects. In Autumn you’ll see the beautiful Autumn colors, and in Winter you’ll see snow abound.
