I use to direct pageants and would sew and monogram my own sashes myself. I tried different methods and found a window blind stick to turn my sash right side out worked best for me😂..
There’s lots of embroidery machine options - I’ve got a video coming discussing how much machine you might need for what you’re trying to do. If you’re just starting out, I recommend the bernette b70!
Gah! I am trying to find a tutorial because i don't know how to angle the top and bottom of a sash that loops around and hangs on you.. i can't believe how little videos I'm finding on sashes.. i suppose I'll just have to guess what angle to cut and sew it at. My niece wants a hot pink "drinking champion" sash for the winner at a festival, ha.
@@Imperialsworld thank you. Yeah, was thinking 45° or 60°. I kept searching more videos and saw one on "how to put on pageant sash," which was basically entirely straight and velcro at the bottom with crossed ends on the hip.. i guess that's just how they're made these days... when i was a kid i had a white silky one that was one piece that slipped over your head and shoulder, angled/point off the shoulder and point from the angle at the bottom... thinking back, just made me recall being in girl scouts... I'll have to search those sash things out for one last look... otherwise, i guess i might just eyeball what looks best, whether that's straight or angled.
😊 awesome sauce!!! And when flipping through...the "beat on the table" 😂 been there!
😂😂 It’s such a move that I think every sewist does! Thanks again for your great tutorial, it’s thanks to you I was able to get these done at all! :)
Love it when there's outtakes! That looks really good. Thank you for the video~
Thanks! And ha! I’m so glad you saw them, I try to add them post content whenever I can!

@@xmobile. if I’m thinking of the right example I think that’s just a 45 degree angle on each end!
