Thank you so much for sharing this! At age 7 I took up guitar and drums. At age 13 I became intimidated by double bass and gave up drums to concentrate on guitar. Then when I began recording my own music i started playing drums again. Your instruction has helped me immensely! You have cleared so much up for me! I wish you had been my teacher when I was a kid...
Thanks, this was SUPER timely. My teacher has been trying to teach me how to move into & out of fills, and all of mine sound the same. I’m going to try this today. Thank you also very much for the engaging content. You are one of my favorite content creators. Each mini-lesson is just enough to encourage me forward without too much intimidation.
This is perfect timing. I need to learn a song for university that has triplet fill on the & of 4 at 118bpm. For my hard hitting rock drummer hands, it’s so annoyingly precise and difficult. But this helps me get an idea of what it should sound like.
If you want to become generally better on your drums, opt for 11/8 patterns rolling over 4 times. Counting 123, 123, 123, 12. Your music will become noticeably better in a very short time, since this pattern allows you to bend time 😊
You know what's cool Drum beat that I Like..Try this one..Tomorrow never knows..I think that's the name of the song.Thetes a Guy on U U-Tube that plays that beat so cool.😁🎸👍✌️🌈
I’ve learned soo much just in some of the few Shorts that I’ve seen. I’m not an absolute beginner but still in that category. Thanks!!
Triplets definitely add more to grooves and fills, these can be used right away. Thanks for the lesson
I hope you're a teacher in real life. You're a natural. Great videos and I'm having fun learning the drums because of you. Thanks

The best and most interesting on UA-cam!
Good lesson.
Puh duh duhs (RLL LRR) are awesome. They also helped me learn double strokes, because only one hand has to deal with them at a time.
