Amazing work! I know how hard is it to record 82 days time lapse from cherry tomatoes! Congrats! I enjoyed a lot! hopefully this video will get 100 k views and thousands of new audience for your nice channel.
The flowers seem to be dropping off due to poor pollination. Tomatoes are self-fertile so just try shaking the stems to help the pollen fall off. It's especially important since you're growing indoors with no wind or pollinators to help.
@@eLapseTime Electric toothbrushes are great for tomatoes. If you just hold it to the stem right above the flower you will see loads of pollen dump when they are ready.
I've grown mine last October, but until now there are still no flowers, and there are fewer leaves since my dad doesn't allow to keep the grow light on for 24 hours. (The light was on until typhoon odette hit us)
Great video! I had a few questions because I’m currently growing cherry tomatoes of my own and wanted advice. It looks like your cherry tomato doesn’t have any trellising or support of any kind, but it looks like it grew just fine. How tall did this plant get? Did you have issues with it falling over on itself? Finally, if you did support them, how tall were the supports?
Thanks, glad you liked the video. It did need a support stick, I used a 4ft bamboo stick, you can see it around the end of video. Tomato plant will easily fall over, if it has no support. If I remember correctly, the plant was around 3-4ft tall.
how much sunlight did this cherry tomato need and what kind is it I looking to plant and wanting to get fruit from it maybe mid-summer do you have any more tips? An also nice video I really enjoyed :D
Thanks! Cherry tomato will need 6 - 10 hours of sunlight per day. If you plant it indoors, you will need grow lights. The soil should be well-draining with pH level around 6.5 to 7 and watering it deeply every time the soil is dry to touch.
Hi, normally, tomato won't take that long, it only needs around 60 - 100 days to mature. Maybe you should try to check the nitrogen levels, nutrients, or water,... of the soil.
I put mine out in the sun for 5-8 hours 2 months without flower, then it started flowering. But my tomatoes stem are thin. So thinking about adding fertilizer this week.
porque a mi planta de tomate no le han crecido las ojas verdaderas ya tiene 15 dias. Tiene agua tiene abono tiene luz del sol tiene 1 planta por maceta y ni auna asi salen :(
@@Polstok2025 Not at the beginning, I actually started exposing them around day 35. I know this is my mistake, but even now they seem to refuse growing 🤔
So all of this grew from one seedling? Asking because I’m currently growing some and I have about 20-30 seedlings lol what do I do with all of them? Help
This is what I’m growing now! Just started growing my cherry tomatoes! Thank you so! 🍅

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I did it everyday, and I used a brush to pollinate as well. However, it didn't work every time.
@@eLapseTime try cutting off a little branch and rubbing against the leaves and stem. (Gently)
@@zer0bankoe Nice, thanks for the suggestion!

in which season it should be grow?
Start in February keep in inside house until its warmer March plant it outside
Did you give it light 24/7?
Yes!
So lucky, my tomato plant grows already 258 days, still doesn’t have flowers and didn’t reach 40cm :c

If you have coffee pods or grounds, put some that you already brew in the soil and put some fish water once in a while

Yes, only one seed. You can separate and transplant them to different places if you have many seedlings.
