I feel like all blaster users have a motto they follow: "No aim, no brain, but no shame, so I'm a blaster main" I know I have bashed blasters before but I don't really think blasters are op. They have plenty of cons, such as: •Low fire rate •Poor turf coverage •Lacking mobility •Short range Okay maybe blasters are annoying to deal with on tower control, I won't deny that.
Range blaster eliminates range penalty Rapid or clash blaster to ink better Range so you can snipe so the low mobility is negated or just use swim/run speed up Clash has the fire rate of the glooga dualies but 2x faster
I play splatoon 1 and you got to aim with the chargers since the guys are pros at dodging and know what to do so I have to aim a little more but i am grtting like 5 kills in turf and now tower control that’s funny like a shoot one guy and 2 of them die
On turf war? Well I don't know why people would be scared of blasters on turf war. Blasters have poor turf coverage, so yeah. You aren't going to win turf war with a blaster.

@@Alphastar716 For what it's worth, most of the time you're giving up better abilities like special saber, MPU, quick respawn, quick super jump, or stealth jump if you're running those. Also blasters generally shouldn't be constantly firing; they should fire and then immediately reposition. And finally, once you get good enough to continually get directs, ink recovery and saver really don't matter as much as they used to.
Blaster + Tower Control + Respawn Punisher + MPU if you want to make your opponent break their Switch. MPU doesn’t do anything but when they see it... oh boy.
I myself am a blaster main and this is highly accurate (oh yea, and btw real blaster mains despise clash blaster because it goes against what blasters really are. Only blaster tryhards use it)
Yeah well on the rare occasion that I feel like my aim isn't good I may use the Luna blaster. Honestly the Luna blaster is a better weapon than the clash blaster anyway
I was a big Luna Blaster Neo main in Splatoon 1 cause it had Ink Mines and the Inkzooka, but the Ink Mines got nerfed hard, and I stayed away from the Luna Blaster until the Fizzy Bomb variant came out. Then the Luna Blaster got promoted from a C to an A.
Oh yeah I'm a grim range blaster main who does the whole sniper thing. (I only have splatoon 1) Ninja squid equipped, aim while submerged, then pop out and pop em! Throw the burst bombs for easier turf coverage and climbing walls, and my god do I love my killer wail :) Good times
Thos explains why i kept winning against that poor range blaster. Thing about Recycle Brella is, while they have range, they can still hit hard up close. You just have to aim.
Dualies, as a dualie main, Dodge tolling is extremely satisfying for a kill, I mostly roll with a pure toothpick of special charge up, a pure of bomb defense up DX to attack as a frontline and also not be affected by point sensors as much, The shoes I use are pure swim speed and are very useful for getting around.
You don't need a pure of bomb defense imo. If you're using dualies you can probably dodge most bombs. Ink saver main might be better as dodge rolling uses a lot of ink. Or just use one sub of bomb defence. Just one sub still greatly decreases your damage taken from bomb splash damage and a few specials too, ie Baller, Inkjet, tentas, etc

Know which players love to use Respawn Punisher? The Carbon Roller Deco mains. The Carbon Roller, despit having short range, is easy to get kills with and has an Autobomb Launcher. I once tried that with the Squash Headband, FC Albacore and Orca Hi-Tops, and did very good in Tower Control. The Squash Headband and Orca Hi-Tops both have Special Saver to counter the Respawn Punisher, and I recently got a special saver Sub slot on my FC Albacore. Now can somebody PLEASE tell me what the FC in FC Albacore stands for?

I would say the N-zap is more in need of a nerf right now, and this is coming from someone who likes weapons from the shooter class. The n-zap is a little too good.
Blasters with the acception of the crayon launcher have never really bothered me, maybe its just because I'm a dualie main and I can just teleport behind them. But they aren't that hard to deal with for me.
I think dualies are one of the best counters to a good blaster player, since you can move around quickly it becomes more difficult to aim. However with enough hours into the game, you can kind of predict how a dualie will move and one shot it anyways.
actualy range blaster does not usualy run alot of ink managment because of the existance of comback and main power(the 2strongest abilities for the weapon)which often take up alot of space~ however using 1sub of main saver and 1sub of sub saver is prety standard on range because it gives it another shot after throwing a suction bomb which is realy realy good for the ability~ also you forgot to mention that rapids typicly use alot of swim spead, like, anywhere from 4subs to 3mains~

Though this could be me using only the Luna Blaster due to kinda hating the aesthetics of the others, and being somewhat new to the game. I guess the Luna mostly relies on positioning? Who knows 'cause I don't.
Depending on the Blaster and your skill level, I'd say you're absolutely right. The low fire rate of most blasters mean missing a direct can lead you incredibly vulnerable. And the fact that most of them need to be positioned well and have poor inking capabilities mean they generally have to rely on their teammates to actually be good at getting kills most of the time. Even Clash Blasters which many lower level players tend to hate have this problem pretty badly. If you can't get the opponent in your best range or surprise them, then they'll kill you super quickly. Blasters are great slaying weapons, but they definitely have some fairly big downsides as well.

I like using my usual gear (Octoking Face Mask, Neo Octoling Armor, and Neo Octoling Boots) with my favorite blaster, the Grim Range Blaster.
Being an E-Liter main I really do fine ALL Blasters to be very irritating.
Yeah they can be very annoying as a sniper. You have to aim a LOT more than they do. At least you got the range advantage.
