I love this Venita! Reminds me a little bit of Upstage. I think my favorite color would be Rich Chocolate Brown, although I wish I could talk myself into branching out into the blondes, like Shaded Biscuit or this Burnt Biscuit Blonde. Maybe someday.

I came back and rewatched this video after watching today's, Jan 25/24, review of Louie and those colors. One thing i always thought belle tress did really well was mix the individual colors of each shade really well, so that a style did not look "wiggy" at all. I think these new collections, Lux in particular, has way too many chunky highlights. They are extremely obvious. Take Chocolate Buttercream for instance. The wide chunky highlight of the lighter color is not flattering, in my opinion. While I am excited to try/feel the new fibers and see the smaller knotting at the lace front, I am not looking forward to having all that chunkiness in my wig shade. I chose Sunkissed Almond R, so i am really hoping, with the lighter coloring, the highlighting is not as "in your face" noticeable. I wonder with the pricing increase on Belle Tress wigs, across all the lines, if they will upgrade the fibers for all fully hand tied caps. I would love to see the new upgraded fibers from the Lux Collection on the Cafe Collection Tea Leaf Layer , Peppermint and Dolce 23" hand tied styles. But, as I've stated before, I think Belle Tress has really dropped the ball on these new collections when it comes to colors. There is not one almost black or black shade, only two reds and a grey shade, limited brunettes and a plethora of blondes. I think for those of us that do not gravitate toward blondes have to be disappointed. Speaking for myself, while I am in love with a lot of the new the styles, I am REALLY having issues choosing just ONE shade out of the TWENTY-FOUR new ones offered in both new Belle Tress collections. Am I the only one struggling here? While I doubt she is, I do hope Julie Min is seeing this. I wish there was a way to post specific feedback for Belle Tress, on social media, that the brand would actually see.

Hi Kelly, thank you so much for stopping by. In the Lux Collection, Rich Chocolate Brown is well blended and in the City Collection, Coolest Ash Brown and Mocha Maple Brown are also well blended. I'm not sure why more blended brunettes weren't added. I did ask some of the retailers if Ginger and Coffee Without Cream (both black/off black colors in Cafe Collection were big sellers), and every one I asked said the same: "not only do not sell as well as the other colors, but we put them on clearance at over 60% discount and they sit there for months" I think that if certain colors don't sell, then they aren't added to new collections. I don't know this for certain; it's only a guess on my part. I will reach out to Julie and let her know, but honestly, I don't know how much of an impact it'll be. If retailers won't purchase the colors or if BT doesn't get the oders, they don't want to have hundreds of wigs sitting on shelves. Nevertheless, I would have liked to see more than 3 brunettes in the Lux Collection. Thank you, Kelly, I appreciate your comment and compliment on my review. Really disappointed with these colors. I hope Shirley picks Mocha With Cream for one of the colors for her special order wigs
Hi Kelly, I understand. Since there is a minimum quantity that needs to be ordered, let's hope enough members choose Mocha With Cream. Unfortunately, Belle Tress (or any other brand) will not make a special production unless their minimum quantity per style and color is met. I'm not certain of the exact number but it's somewhere in the hundreds and has to paid up front. It's a lot to spend if they don't sell. We'll have to see how many choose Mocha With Cream and keep our fingers crossed. xoxo Marlene
