We are invited to come boldly to the Throne of Grace, "Christ Possessed", knowing He is Our Father and He is also our King. When God speaks and makes a decree He speaks by His Living Word and He is Bound to His own promises and divine purposes. We cannot go into God's presence without a promise from His Word. When God speaks a word to you don't consult with your flesh and don't allow your feelings of unworthiness to effect your prayers. We are to come boldly with a fixed position, believing the truth and power of His Word. We do not try to persuade God, but rather are fully persuaded with a fixed position to the faithfulness of His Word.
    Philippians 4:6, Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 3:12

FATHER GOD, please listen to the hurting hearts. Please GOD do for them what YOU did for me, and so many like me. I bless YOU FATHER, and I pray fervently for healing from all spiritual oppression of the devil, for those who may not know YOU, or cannot pray because the devil has them bound. Help all people everywhere, and THANK YOU for them. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen🙏

Along with this message David preached so has the Lord whispered to me and that is, He has already answered every prayer I'll ever pray and He ONLY does what He has already declared. As The Lord Said
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.
    Deuteronomy 8:3 KJVA
    And Jesus
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
    Luke 4:4 KJVA
Going along with those things He says "Believe" over and over, but He means believe HIM, Personally, that He is Who He shows us and tells us He Is and furthermore, He can't do anything unless someone believes Him!
Do a search with the phrase "they believed not..." And study that out.
Then enter His Gates with Thanksgiving and His Courts with Praise! He Has Already Declared what He's ever going to declare and spoken what He's going to ever do. Our prayers are answered already and if it isn't always what we prayed for? That has been spoken too.
But I've learned the hard way that our flesh wants to jump up and get in on this, even, after the answers come we've wanted then our flesh wakes up and tries to grab the blessings for itself. Be aware of that and don't let it ruin everything.
If we pray in the morning "Father....give us this day our daily bread" then in the evening do we say "Father, Thank You,for today You have Given us our daily bread...You Kept us from evil...You Have forgiven me as I've forgiven others..."?

Trying to BIND GOD to HIS WORD?WOW!I wouldn't suggest that anymore than Your Earthly father! Now I wrestle with HIS will, but will never win that battle!Your WILL O Lord not mine be done!ALL I want IS to Know HIM in TRUTH and Understand when ALL seems dark in my LIFE!He has Never let ME down and trying to Hurry HIM up with a Binding sounds EVIL!

I agree how it sounds especially after hearing what others say who are seeking to consume things in their own lusts, but jead my comment above and see that God is bound to His Word and ONLY His Word.
As for David using the phrase I don't even get a hint that it was for self and gain.

There were a lot of "but's" in this sermon - you can go insane contemplating why your prayers were not answered - nor a single one.
I think saying that if God didn't answer a prayer then it wasn't his will is a cop out as to why God doesn't answer prayers - because it makes praying pointless . . . as one comedian said "why not just go to his will"
I decided to leave this subject which can make your mind run in fruitless circles.

There is an unsettling tone in your note that may explain why your experiencing difficulties. The God of the Bible is not a benign genie in a bottle or santa claus - He is Lord God Almighty, Sovereign, Eternal, Everlasting, Creator of the Heavens and Earth, Holy and Righteous and to be greatly feared. He's not like some cheap gym membership we take on for while, dont see the results we want, then ditch. If thats our attitude we havent begun in the way really.
Jesus was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. He bled and died to deal with our sin and to deliver to us His free gift of Righteousness and bring us into everlasting life. Were called to take up our cross and follow Him all the days of our life. Not "try" Him for a while to see if He'll deliver the goods we selfishly desire then if not cast His aside.
First and foremost we need to be aiming and striving to repent of *all* sin and to live right before God. John the Baptist, Jesus, the disciples all preached *Repent* for the kingdom is at hand. Much of what calls itself gospel in our day ignores this. James tells us 'you believe? So does the devil'
Psm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
We must also be in faith...
James 1 6-8 but when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
      Thirdly we must apply patience...
Heb 6:12 we do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through *faith* and *patience* inherit what has been promised.
This isnt a "try me" cheepie game to be tossed aside when we cant figure out how to work it. If were not seing results we need to humble ourselves before God and ask Him why that is, unrepented of sin of some sort will be at the root of it, Not stand aloof in effect calling God a liar. He's not broken, we are.
