No lie: when the NFL officials went on strike, they brought in the referees from the Lingerie League to officiate the games. That video alone is worth a reaction.😂
In high school, an all girl football team is known as powder puff football. It's flag not full contact. Or at least that's the rules, can't say my school really cared too much for the rules. One game had 9 ambulances on standby and 2 on radio call. All got used.
I forget what they called it, but here they did powder puff foot ball and an all boys volleyball team, just to even out the fun games.

Yeah, my school did it last year, and are going to this year, My School makes the guys wear skirts and low cut shirts when they play volleyball, we call it Powder *Buff* as opposed to the Girls Flag Football Powder Puff

I can’t imagine the grass burns or turf burns they get on their legs and hips from sliding.
They complained a lot about that. Not sure if anything ever happened from it because I doubt the league survived the pandemic.
That was Ogom Chijindu (#6) of the LA Temptation who did the twerking! Before her retirement she was known as the meanest player and biggest trash talker in the league. Teams wouldn't run her way. She can now be found on Basketball Wives.
Part of me feels weird for watching lingerie football. I watched a fantastic documentary called Beyond The Lights about women's football, and it made me wish that they would have much more opportunities and national attention than just this

Interestingly enough, the name was actually changed to "Legends Football League" in 2013, and they just recently changed it to X(treme) Football League in 2020

Eh, you're just seeing the big hits. If you watch an actual game it gets old pretty quickly. A lot of the girls just used it as a platform to modeling or something else.

I was shooting pool in Hawaii at a bar and I got a chance to talk to one of the ladies from this league. She said she was working out 5 days a week and was doing it to boost her modeling career. She could not have weighed more than 120 or 130 pounds.
Actually, those ladies are serious athletes. I just can’t stop seeing a fit woman. Maybe it’s the lingerie.
I've always had so much respect for these ladies. They're wonderful athletes and I couldn't imagine men in the NFL managing to play as well in a speedo. BUT, maybe they could? I'd watch, lol.
They hit, and take hits with only shoulder pads and a helmet. Not even close to all the pads the men wear in the NFL.

These ladies are actually proper athletes and yet they are treated as a joke and made to play in skimpy clothing and hockey helmets, which are terrible and don't protect against concussions. I wish they would actually give a fuck and let them play in proper attire so they don't seriously hurt themselves. The only reason these women are alright with playing in whatever they put them in is that they love to play the game of football, and they have no other option to play and still get paid.
There is the WFA (Women's Football Alliance) They wear full football gear and play 100 yards. Not as popular though.
@@WilbertAdams1 yes, but WFA is a non-profit organization that has 66 teams and can't afford to pay their players. Each woman in the WFA has to pay up to $2000 each season to play.
