maybe because the frequency from the original sound font (strings) were pitched down but not slowed down (technically they were slowed down, but I guess you get what I mean). That makes some kind of tremolo effect (on and off quickly). Listen to the other elements of the backing track; they sound awful but with the same effect

Hmm… Well there is much difference tho - mine is a custom shop strat with customshop fat50’s pickup! Would probably have some major difference in terms of richness in sound
