More than welcome I was glad to help with the chain. I love seeing and running with all you guys. I wish i had remembered to do a chain for the 2100. 10 minutes before we got on the road to Sawfest I took it off my 395 work saw lol 😆. I figured good enough. Anyways Joe stick with the p-100 man you’ll get it figured out. You’re a fabricator at heart. You got this.
My P100 had constant recoil problems. First was spring then spring and after that spring. Then I sold it and the kid that bought it sold it because recoil was a constant problem. Other wise it was a great saw and ran really well.
A p100 is definitely on my list of saws I want to get. There's not alot of partners down this end of the globe though. How do you find these go compared to a 2100?
Pretty sure you can toss a 2100 crank into a 395 if you want a bit less of a conventional 6 cube saw. Not a yellow saw, but it would still be pretty cool.
Id like to see you throw that cylinder off the partner onto a reed saw pioneer p61 or whatever it would fit onto! I think a reed saw would blow the doors off a husky! :)
Nice build, stick with the partner, im always rooting for the underdog saws that are different.

Stay with the p100. You will get it dialed in. Got faith in you my man!!
I ran one of those back in the 70s had a long bar for it.
Vintage muscle saws are awesome. Everyone can do a Stihl or Husqvarna. The old Macs, Poulans, partner, pioneer, and Dolmars are fun to
That's pretty good power from the old iron. Sounds like I'll have to find more out of the 2100 for next year.
The vintage muscle is pretty awesome
Loving the Partner content!
Love the vintage muscle and vintage saws
Still love my Stihl 075AVE 111cc bad ass though 100cc still a beast😊😊
I rebuilt a p70 for a guy and the concrete cut off saw cylinder bolted right on. Has a decomp port for a normal decomp valve.
What brand cylinder and piston did you use? was it a T-Port cylinder? I currently working on a P-55 and P-70.
great video
We ran some sach dolmars in the old stock appearance class and with a little bit of work they would rip.
I like the vintage stuff too, I have a P70 and looking for some porting numbers to get a good firewood saw out of it.

I’d throw a decomp(or two) in that beast😁

Go Billy 😁 dish the piston lol
G'day mate try and find a Solo 603 chainsaw 103cc pull hard, keep making the videos cheers Kevin down under
Joe, probably a dumb question..
What does the finger ports do, and what is the deciding factor for adding them?
I'm going 2100 next year.
Maybe, someone has an idea of what recoil mechanism that could be substituted for the original? Or is that considered cheating?
Get a Dolmar if you want a different brand
More parts, old saws are cool.
