  • Hey!
Thanks for reading a description. I want to explain few things about comparison which I did with Toyotas. Except behavior of both cars which I have explained on my article (this is the extra video for my whole text), I'll write here major differences:
    - Slovakiaring on Assetto Corsa isn't laser-scanned or precise version, comparing to the real track. Asphalt is another and some vertical and horizontal angles of the corners and straights isn't correct, it's easy to spot on one of the photos from my article (photo from Turn 3)
    - I have driven with Toyota GT86 MY17/MY18 which is after facelifting and GT86 which is available in Assetto Corsa is pre-lift version. Except visual and aero changes (check the bumpers and multi-function wheel on MY17), there are few little changes in suspension and final gear ratio (from 4.1 to 4.3 in MY17),
    - Both cars had road alignment and tyre pressures (street tyres),
    - Both cars had similar amount of fuel (between full and 3/4),
    - Speed is very similar comparing to my feeling and Race Chrono data, but please note that, most of the real speedometers have measurement errors which add few km/h.
As you see my video, despite few differences, the whole car's behavior is the same, where real car was much easier for high-speed cornering.
If you're interested, you can check the whole text about comparing GT86!

    ==========
    Game: Assetto Corsa (PC)
    Track: Slovakiaring
Grip: 95-96% (clean, but no rubber after slick tyres, similar to the summer track day conditions without cars on slick tyres)
    Temp. ~23 Celsius Degree
    Conditions in real life:
    Temp. ~23-25 Celsius Degree
Clean track without rubber from slick tyres (only few cars on road tyres were driving, before the day it was storm which cleaned the asphalt)

You should compare it to project cars 2 for more realism sim cause driving in ac is harder than in real life lol
You talk they drive same and had same time lol you can drive same and have same time in need for speed physics if you want so badly to match sim to real just to match them.
Notice speed and wheel rotation. guy in ac took corners like 20 kph less speed and turn wheel less and still you can see him trying to catch grip (this shitty ac understeer simulaton)
If you just took gyu who drive tis ting straigh from game to real life he would get off track in first corner cause hes afraid to turn wheel more bla bla bla wheels are locked, understeer blah blah blah even when real car in real world would still be able to turn easily even at greater speed than he tricked his mind to this corner at that speed is impossible cause none car would turn so easy, its not simcade xD
PC2 has better physics, sometimes when i drive AC i think they made their grip testing with old bald tyres on public roads - race track grip is bout 4x grippier than public roads cause of temps and rubber from racing, so in terms of grip AC < public roads grip or even worse < PC2 = race tracks grip easy to turn, when you understeer its too late
Thats the point people settin their ffb to "feel understeer" think if you goin 200 kph in fast turn youll feel understeer and correct it like in ac. boy i tell yo if tires loose traction its almost too late.
Thats above the same people later telin "pc2 simcade, worst ffb, cant feel grip lost, get off truck dont know why, no understeer feel" boi thaqts how professionals get off track, in many situations its too late to feel grip lost
