My have times changed. Bought a really nice 3/2 Condo in The Villages of Emerald Bay in 1990 for $120K. Sold in 2005 for $369k. Nice condo in great little 200-unit development just south of Bonita Beach Rd. on Vanderbilt Drive. 2003 had a brand new home built in Sterling Oaks. 3/2 at 2000 sq ft for $285k. Really nice community with GREAT tennis program and all the other amenities. Great HOA fees. Sold in 2014 for $381k. In just 8 short years prices have skyrocket. The biggest concern buying anything in South Florida is whether or not you can get Homeowners insurance and if you can afford the Premium. We loved Naples while we lived there but moved to Western North Carolina where there is less exposure to weather disasters and cost of living is very reasonable. Made a bunch of $$$$$ living in Naples and now spending it in North Carolina. Oh, HOA's really suck, Never again.

Seems like a perfect fit! Not too concerned with dining out, shopping, or the beach either! 🥸
