  • Clarinet virtuoso extraordinaire STANLEY DRUCKER, the long-time principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic, presents a live performance of Carl Maria von Weber's masterpiece for clarinet & string quartet. This concert took place in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, circa 1972. Mr. Drucker is performing with the New York Philharmonic String Quartet. EVETS KRALC PRODUCTIONS

    Drucker's version of Nielsen's clarinet concerto is unexcelled.

      Well it is a great performance indeed. Especially when it was done in one take...but The John McCaw interpretation is much more "Nielsenesque".
