ORTHOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS (FV, TV & LHSV) OF AN OBLIQUE LINE IN THIRD QUADRANT
This Lecture describes the construction of Orthographic Projections of an oblique line in third quadrant.
This Lecture illustrates the spatial location of the Line in the 3D space with respect to the three planes of projections (Horizontal Plane, Vertical Plane and Profile Plane) and the representation of Orthographic Projections (FV, TV & LHSV) of the line.
The construction of 2D Orthographic Projections (Front View, Top View and Left-Hand Side View) of an oblique line in third quadrant has been discussed in this Lecture.
Further, the following problem related to the Projections of the Line has been illustrated in this Lecture:
Draw the projections of an oblique line in third quadrant:
Line AB has its end A 10 mm from VP and 20 mm from HP. End B is 50 mm from VP and 45 mm from HP. Distance between end projectors is 55 mm. Draw the front view, top view and L.H. side view of the line assuming the line to be in the third quadrant.
