It hit hard when the abusive father was yelling at his daughter then snapped out of it and realized what he was doing and cried in her arms. i have been through that as the father. My step dad treated me like shit for 15yrs of my childhood, and at times i was like that dad to friends who are still close to me. luckily i had friends who didn't give up on me. Now I'm married to a Goddess of a woman who for some reason settled for me, but man watching that scene made me turn off the game in tears...

That scene from Assassin's Creed 2 is one of my favourite inspired moments from the whole series. It built my affection with the father character faster than anything else they could've done, and it's not every day they manage to make a heroic childbirth scene work tastefully in an action game.
Well, at least the camera stayed comfortably third person, imagine experiencing that scene from a first-person perspective? *remembers the birthing section from Sonic Dreams Collection* *doesn't feel like sleeping for the next week*

That "press L1 to time travel" thing would actually make a pretty fun action game on its own. You'd have to think in two different times at once, and consider how to make the future easier by moving something in the past: for example, moving this potted plant to the right place will allow you to climb its vines in the future.
LB to time travel was actually one of the coolest FPS moments I've personally experienced. The whole campaign was fun, but getting to freak out the soldiers who thought you had some super advanced cloaking tech was hilarious.
That mechanic would be awesome in a game (like the whole game) of course you would have to put in some enemies who could do the same to make it a little bit more of a challenge at times.

When Chakravartin offers you his hand to gift you ultimate power to take his place as the new God of the world after he leaves, you're prompted to "extend arm" after Asura gives an uncharacteristic smile. By this point you've had to obtain 5 S Ranks in various missions to get the true ending and THEN buy the DLC that extends the story to the full true ending. It really came as no surprise to many that Asura's arm was extended with a balled fist rather than open with friendship.
Dragon Age: Origins, where, if you skill your characters somewhat decently, the game is a walk in the park (excluding a fight you're not supposed to win anyways, which is still completely doable though if you know what you're doing)
Remember having to repeatedly press circle at the end of God of War 3 fighting Zeus.I pressed it literally for an hour. Didn't realized when the screen was all bloody to stop. My right thumb has been messed up ever since.

RDR2 Horse birthing. Thankfully it wasn't quite as viscerally visually as the skinning cut scene.

Actually, if you notice after blinding Poseidon, Kratos snaps his neck. THAT'S what kills him, not the blinding.

In Super Mario RPG, whenever Mario is asked to prove his identity, the correct response is to jump.
Any game that requires me to interact always shocks me. I came to games to get away from interacting with other creatures!

When Chakravartin offers you his hand to gift you ultimate power to take his place as the new God of the world after he leaves, you're prompted to "extend arm" after Asura gives an uncharacteristic smile. By this point you've had to obtain 5 S Ranks in various missions to get the true ending and THEN buy the DLC that extends the story to the full true ending. It really came as no surprise to many that Asura's arm was extended with a balled fist rather than open with friendship.

Dragon Age: Origins, where, if you skill your characters somewhat decently, the game is a walk in the park (excluding a fight you're not supposed to win anyways, which is still completely doable though if you know what you're doing)
Remember having to repeatedly press circle at the end of God of War 3 fighting Zeus.I pressed it literally for an hour. Didn't realized when the screen was all bloody to stop. My right thumb has been messed up ever since.
