The reason Emily says he was full of it is due to his later work on the continent. Several voyages and accounts are attributed to him, however in recent decades scholars have raised doubts that all of them were true due to various inconsistencies. Essentially what she's saying is that by the time people started colonizing America, it was already based on lies.

It's beautiful! The cinematography is to die for by my standards. Reedus, and all the characters look fabulous, and it looks like a story that should be a movie. Metal Gear Solid, specifically Metal Gear Solid 4, is a great way to get introduced to Hideo Kojima, the director for Death Stranding. MGS4 it's a completely different game with completely different tone, but it would introduce to you the complexity of Kojima without being too afraid of his creations

If you actually go back and watch all the trailers beginning to end they actually tell their own narrative hinting at part of the games plot (to save the B.B.). The end of this trailer is the beginning of the first.
im sure you know by now " the little fan thing" is like a radar attached to the baby that sences the dead black spirits of dead people floating around after haveing necrotised into thin air and not been cremated means a body can wipe out everything for miles,ive not played it yet but will ive watched alot of playthroughs of it to learn more about it and it both weirds me out ,and excites me and now haveing watched some peoples streams of it and haveing some idea of the story behind it ive bought it to play the story which looks like it has multple twist in it.
So, I'm thinking the "babies" are used to link points in spacetime, because of being not entirely situated either in "before" or "after," in a metaphysical sense, and that Reedus' character is part of some effort to move everyone out of some permanent "now" the world is stuck in, while Mikkelsen's character represents people trying to end that same, interminable "now" in a different way, perhaps by finding a way to undo reality altogether, which brings them into conflict. I can't fully explain why I think this, but it's what my brain has stitched together from the effing weirdness of the trailers, so far.

Exactly, and we saw so much gameplay already. Open world-ish with vehicles, weapons and different kind of enemies, Humans and and interesting monsters. A strong Cast and a beautiful world that's so different to any other game, i cant wait ! :)

It seems like he's time traveling on a vast time scale. I'm so unsure if this is gonna be good though. Usually I can gauge a game based on trailers but this one leaves me simply curious. This trailer was really moving though with that great soundtrack. I might just wait a couple weeks after release to see what people think.
