I understand that you want Gambit back because I guess he is one of your favorite characters but after Uatu ithe Watcher was seen in this episode this moment that is a fixed point in time that cannot be changed, I was upset to see important key characters in the series thawing like Banshee, Marrow Sebastian Shaw to name a few besides characters like Madelyne Pryor, Magneto and Gambit who have been main characters in this series, then we don't know what other mutants have died, in the arc of E is for Extinction as this is taken from 16 million mutants died and shows the seriousness of this host how serious this was that mutants live in and if Cabel manages to undo this it means to make this event worthless and make those who watch this series think that death doesn't matter, to me is it someone who will make Rogue's emotional journey to follow not one man but two men by her side and will give her a character development, another thing is that this will allow other characters who were members of the X-men in the original mateal to be able become new members in this story, Storm will probably come back but will Forge take a place among them? There are many as seen in this tv show that can fill the hole that these dead characters have created a void, But let's say that Cabel can save some from this massacre who do you think he will reproduce right then? To me, his mother is just plain mean at first and his saying "not again" shows that he has already tried to save them before and failed, but this is speculation on my part and we can't know what's to come until they show us in future episodes . I wish you a nice day.
Thank you for your lengthy response. I could do a whole other video on Magneto but this episode but the spotlight on Gambit and he is one of my favorites. Yes, this season is doing a lot of comic source material, but they're not handcuffed to do it exactly the same. I'm looking at the choices this series makes as an extension of what we know already works. Can this show continue to function with Storm, Magneto, Prof. X, Gambit, and possibly Cyclops & Jean out of the mix? We'll see. Have a good weekend!
Based on and tied to are two different circumstances, just like comics and cartoons are 2 different mediums. Removing characters from the show removes value. I don't have to like it.
@@DieselTymeGO gambit was always supposed to die. They couldn’t progress the series without the death of gambit. Just like storm eventually gets their powers back and magneto and rogue end up together. It is the progression of the series and to get out of shape because they killed one of the lesser powerful characters that never made any sense in the series is fucking stupid.
@stephenbrock3321 Let's rephrase this whole conversation in a way that you can understand since it was never about the comics. The Tranesformers movie killed all the characters so they could sell new toys. What new toys is X-Men trying to sell now that main characters are dying?
Thanks for the shot out!
