Then you can jump and fly away from him until LW finishes his second phase attack. Is vital not to lock in him so the camera wont direct you into his attack. The third phase is the tricky one. You must await until he teleports at you and starts to slash at Sora. You have to block it five times, or four times and roll in the opposite direction. Then you attack him cause he will be vulnerable. After a couple of combos, he will launch his DM again. Repeat this 'cheese' until you beat him.

He’s not that hard once you learned all of his attacks I’ve done it all all difficulty’s and I did it on LV1 he always has different attacks and once you learn how to dove them your good

I forgot how, but you can turn a setting on where donald can cure you in emergency situations. I turned that on and that made bosses like this one a lot easier.

But I knew I wasn’t going to have any personal closure if I left it at that. So I replayed it. Sora had all Hi-Potions except for 1 Mega-Potion, Donald and Goofy each had 1 Mega-Potion, 1 Ether, and the rest Hi-Potions. Sora equipped with the Ultima Keyblade (IE the best one), and Donald and Goofy with their strongest weapons. All of their moves were set to “use freely”, and the items were on “emergency only” each. And set them to “attack Sora’s target”. I used Limits so I’d be invincible during his moves, and so as soon as he drops his guard, I’d already be attacking him. If not, then I used the Genie summon (IE the best one) to do the same thing. And if neither are there, I just glide around until either meter was full. RINSE AND REPEAT, and I beat him in about 6-8 tries.
There's something I've always wondered with Synthesis in this game. Say you've given some materials to the moogle to create something, would those items be saved until you get more stuff to finish your creation?

Insane. I barely managed to beat him on Proud using the cheap cheesing strategy with the Fenrir. I could never damage him otherwise (aside from the Comet setup). I'll probably never beat the Cave of Remembrance data dudes. My levels and forms are all maxed, yet those guys all obliterate me. Actually, I came super close to beating Marluxia, but still got Shrekt. I'll have to start another playthru and grind to 99 on Beginner if I wanna stand a chance.
RedAppleGP I don't remember my loadout off the top of my head, but I use Reflega pretty frequently. I'm often unsuccessful with it, but yeah. I guess I'm just not good at this game, lol, and I'm generally pretty good at games.
@@Mudkun Fr Difficulty is subjective and it depends on the player, but some kh superbosses on Critical always felt harder than everything in souls games, at least for me. Consort Radahn took me 50+ attempts to beat (no summons and no cheese) and he was the only one in souls franchise which took me so long to beat. Malenia was similar. Yozora took me 150+ attempts, Data xehanort and saix both took at least 100, and some others Data fights took me individually more than 50 tries.
Aaah, that's right, I forgot how fun this guy was, I was able to beat him in under 3 mins though... maybe I should try to use no final form and only the kingdom key..
I’ve played these games my whole life and lingering will and sephiroth are the only two I haven’t beat across all the games, I’ve beaten them all on proud or critical but I refuse to play them on easy in order to beat them, feels like cheating 🤷♀️
You need to reach level 99 for Final Form to do massive damage. Use Ultima/Oblivion as ur main keyblade and use Fenrir (obtained from defeating Sepiroth) as ur second keyblade for Final Form Additional note: If you didn’t pick sword as your starting choice at the beginning of the game, then your base damage will be slightly lowered.

On standard, it felt like Final Form made it harder to beat him than normally.

Lingering Will was only in the Final Mix version which was released 3 times

It may have to do with the difficulty you chose. This guy seems to be playing on easy, but your overall dmg% is lower on +Proud mode.
