Deafheaven - Come Back (Reaction) // Every Song Sucks

By far one of the most exciting and genre busting bands around. I'd place them right up there with Radiohead, Tool and Opeth in terms of constantly pushing far beyond boundaries of what is considered music, structurally and phonically.

even though I enjoy many artists under the Sargent House label, such as Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle, Brutus, Russian Circles and the like, this is my first listen to Deafheaven, and I agree Sarah, for me personally, the intro, the change in the music around midway and the outro were highlights, but the vocals and the overuse of blast beats become tiresome

This band does seem quite different then a lot the other bands on that label, even just mood wise. I did a written review of one of their albums as well.
