LOG was the first concert I ever went to when I was 20 in 2006, Mastodon played before them and I fell in love with the Leviathan album because of that, but LOG was opening for Slayer, the pit was insane with LOG but Slayer literally had the entire floor a pit except a small ring of people around the edge, literally hundreds if not at least 1000 people in the pit, LOG did have like 50-75% of the floor a pit too which was my first pit, be8ng my first concert and that was wild but I've never seen anything like what happened with Slayer, I hope for that again some day but I feel like that concert set the bar too high, I've never seen anything like that since

In my opinion this style of music is best listened to on a good quality speaker system, headphones just won't cut it. I understand that the way reaction videos are done, they pretty much need headphones so you can hear the song and the viewer can hear direct line audio instead of through the mic. I have a decent 5.1 channel sound card hooked up to a 5.1 Logitech PC speaker system (Z906). For the music player I use foobar2000 to up-mix stereo audio to 5.1. Also ripping the CDs for best audio quality in WAV format then converting to FLAC (both lossless audio) helps to eliminate that weird underwater sound you get from MP3s and low bit rat AAC audio.

Hello. Have you reacted to Death - Spiritual Healing, yet? That's a really really sucky song by a sucky group.

First heard PT in the pre-show house music at an Incubus show ('Morningview' tour). The song was "Blackest Eyes", and it blew me away. I spent the entire concert trying to remembering the name of the band and the song. Been a huge fan ever since. Of PT, and Steven Wilson's work overall. The guy is brilliant. I'm not as big a fan of the current PT lineup. John Wesley is missing from the lineup for sure, I think. It was interesting seeing them become more popular during their break than they were before.

In this song Tartarus refers to a character in the halo games, and it talks about the final battle where they manage to beat tartarus. The speaking part, and the whole song in general, is about being at the end of the war, on the brink of extinction, with so many dead after years of war, and finding the strength to go on in the fact that theres been this many lost already, the main character might not survive and make it home but he has to do his job and fight to save the ones he loves

Car Bomb is my favorite band, but Sets is their weakest song imo. Try Blackened Battery.

Props to you for reacting to "Here Come The Tears" and "Dissident Aggressor" as a double-feature. Even though they don't really have anything in common lyrically, the flow of the vibes and the transition from one song to the other make them inseparable, IMO. This whole album is a *masterpiece* of metal, and these 2 songs are the high point.
