    This fantastic Rolls-Royce Phantom II Barker Body Continental was purchased 29th March 1933 by Captain Sir Malcolm Campbell of land and water speed record holder fame. 140 MY chassis number was supplied with a Barker "Standardized Touring Saloon" body and came to the grand total of £2425. Additional extras were added to the Phantom a metal tool box fixed to the chassis, five Ace discs fitted to the wheels, radio, cushions to front and rear seats and the horns and siren from his previous car were fitted to the new car.
    Sir Malcolm Campbell was so impressed with the Phantom at Rolls-Royce themselves used his quote to promote the Phantom II "The best Rolls-Royce yet produced".
    In recent times the Phantom has had extensive work carried out, which includes a full rebuild of the engine, for which photographic evidence can be supplied.
    This is a rare opportunity to buy a Rolls-Royce with such ownership history and a delightful looking car as well.
