Love your videos I wish you uploaded more often but I understand that creating quality videos takes time. Never stop creating content I appreciate everything you do
I am personally a Snow dweller myself, so its nice to see accurate helpful information for new players, to bring more people to this wonderful snowy location. Advice for clothing though, is that you shoudlnt worry too much about cold protection, as the damage from it is miniscule. Generally if you are above -5 cold you should be fine for the most part, as this damage is extremely slow. Anything below -7 though tends to be an issue, and is where the damage tends to be lethal
Great place early wipe, when prim players avoid cold. Just bring a bag or two then harvest your own body when you freeze for the bone knife and food. Cook yourself on your campfire. Eat one piece and you can heal some without dehydration until you can get supplies.
If you played rust before 2018 you should have frog boots which give +7 cold protection and only cost one tarp to craft, definitely an over powered clothing item if you are gonna live in the snow
My group and I live exclusively in the snow, it's just our favorite place to live. We once allied with a group of people who normally live in the forest or dessert. They had a forward operating base about two blocks away from us and they were begging us for food. We were able to trade 90 bear meat for an AK, they asked us how the hell do we survive here lmao
I know that in between 2 hills there is a high chance it will be flat in between and the desert is probably the most flat biome you should consider those options. And of course there is always the shallow water near the ocean but it's heavily contested on high pop.
i LOVE your videos man.. please don't stop uploading!!! The ratio between quality/quantity is utterly perfect. I admire your videos, a lot! They've helped me optimize my rust time, and you know, server wipes in 3 days for me, and I was planning to base in the snow. You are the GOAT! take care now Jfarr :)
Actually, I bought it and appreciate it, but it offers less cold protection than gear anyone can acquire in-game, so it's not really pay to win. I actually wish it offered more cold protection than it does.
@@rayquazaex0 they do. Every company that does this gets a bad rep about it but then no one cares after a month. This happened with the arctic suit too.
@@CampCrystalLake it removes one of the biggest weaknesses of the most used armor in the game. It gives you all the cold protection you’ll ever need in rust, even if you’re in snow at night. And on top of that it still has all the good traits that make hazmats so widely used. It’s literally a direct upgrade unless you’re running launch puzzle, in which you can just remove the skin. Don’t try to defend this busted p2w item.
Hi there. I am looking for a 2-4 dedicated vending machine base with turret coverage, any chance u could maybe make some pls? Or get some buddies to make some coz I can't find anything on it realy. Drone shops a plenty but I'm looking for the safe zone player shop type thing.
For font, I use Uni Sans and sometimes poppins. Some of the graphics are done within photoshop, like the armour tiles that appeared. Also, the charts are made directly in dacinci resolve so I have more control over it.
Every time I meet a new player I tell them to watch you, you're a life saver
Thanks Schwiftylzzy, I appreciate that :)
I do the same lol just did today

Thanks Jimmy I would love to make more but I'm also working fulltime, so it doesn't leave me with much time left to work on these videos.
Thanks!

Haha, sounds horrific but great advice
Laughed so much at this tip but it’s actually genius
Step 1, dont, because you''ll get offlined as soon as you log off
Haha, really should have made that the video. Would have been much quicker :)

I always wondered where they went , I came from console recently and wondered why they weren’t craftable. Makes sense now

Snow biome is the best to get stacked and build a massive base
Thanks for the tips
Happy to help joe mama :)
Hey Jfarr... I love your videos. Do you mind telling me what software you use to record your voice-over? Thank you so much
hey jfarr can you make a guide on where to build and flat spots thank you

as a fellow snow dweller, can someone tell me why the 2nd highest tier is running the handkerchief instead of boots?
how did you figure out the radius? this could be very useful to know also for other deployables
I would highly recommend buying the arctic suit skin for people who want to build in the snow. It is IMO the most pay to win item in the game.
why can rust get away with p2w and other games dont
Yeah, unfortunately that seems to be the case.

Around 4k hours
