i work with people who i thought were friends but they have ben conspiring to get me out, two days ago i had a massive panic attack because theyve been taking thing out of context to use against me in a job i love and now i might get fired.
They do all the things that i have done like use the work phone to make DR appointments but they make it sound like i am a slacker when i am the top in the office,i work in a call centre.
I just want a job i can do without worrying im getting fired or what are they saying behind my back, they take each other out of the office and talk about me to gather evidence and i have no friends as they all know each other and i got the job on merit but they all got the job via nepotism.
    What shall i do?

So how does one deal with a difficult boss who drags the whole team down, and a supervisor above that boss that diligently avoids confrontation and allows difficult people to run off good ones?

KA Perhaps the best thing to do is start looking for other opportunities in a more positive work environment? In the meantime, when you do have to interact with that draining boss, make sure to spend time with more energizing colleagues afterwards.

How about some tips on how not to be a jerk? If we all try to fix ourselves maybe we can avoid this kind of behavior in the first place, instead of avoiding the actual jerks.

The chef at my job was a jerk to me. Was in my face the day before, and asked me how I was the next day. WTF?
