I don't understand why it states you only get 10 queries online. I myself have gotten much more and I I've only had free version of X and I asked it after it incorrectly told me about the 10 and told me 25 for every 2 hours. Also I had found two sites that said 10 queries of regular and 10 of the mini but I also had created like 6 image creation queries amongst my 15 questions. Maybe you should test it out and see what happens. I'm going to try again as well.
Thank you, Jose. Grok is pretty powerful and can make some great images. It is a great additional AI tool for all of us to use. I appreciate you commenting.
Special Note: I just found out that Grok has switched image generators. Instead of Flux, they are now using an AI image generator called "Aurora," as of 9 December 2024, (x.ai/blog/grok-image-generation-release). Special thanks to commenter "@mrGapMan1" (Mikolai) for informing me of the update.

My experience is that grok is not "woke", and gives more unbiased (non politically correct) answers. I want information, not a woke narrative, so I like grok more than gemini (which won't even answers many questions on subjects like politics).
I do like the way it phrases things and I was very impressed with the creative short story it wrote and its suggestions for improving the hands-on course. Very powerful capabilities.
I have been using Grok 2 as a Bible study tool. It has been trained with biblical Geek and Hebrew as well as everything you'd find discussed on the Internet. I'm hoping for the day when it will have access to Copyrighted books, etc. It does seem to have access to many versions of the Bible that are copyrighted. You can debate with it, tell it to limit itself to what is explicitly in the Bible and ignore all the theology that came after the 1st Century. You have to push it to do that, It wants to give the "consensus orthodox" answers and likes to push the creeds and soforth. It pretty much will pull in things like the Trinity and you have to remind it not to if you want it to stick with what came before the 3rd-5th Centuries. And it doesn't take offense! 🙂
Hello, Craig. Thank you for posting. It is great to hear that you are able to use Grok to assist with your religious studies. I think AI is a super powerful tool to assist us in all aspects of education. As always, I have to emphasize the importance of AI Literacy (Awareness, Capability, Knowledge, and Critical Thinking) and the need to always verify all information that AI provides. I found it interesting that it is trying to pull in the creeds and other aspects. In that case, you will need to use an advanced prompt formula to specify the data sources for your desired response. In the future, I hope that Grok will have "special instructions" features so that you can place that requirement within your profile so that all responses will be geared in that way.
@@sovorel-EDU , It is a powerful tool. It's weakness is that it is trained by humans with what has been created by humans and it is therefore biased by the data. It only gets really interesting if you know enough about what you are asking it so you can ask a more specific question in response to what it says. It really likes the standard arguments that humans use when defending their theology. But I find that fascinating too. It's the Solomon Asch Conformity Experiements in action. It uses the arguments of the orthodox of any given subject. If you question it's "interpretation" of something it justifies and defends the orthodoxy with the arguments of the orthodox. Question the virgin birth of Mary and it will appeal to the Church fathers, etc. You have to keep telling it to only make an appeal to what is explicitly written in the scriptures. If you make a statement about it's conclusion it eventually sees the direction you're going and does a great job at evaluating the consequences of whatever it is you are proposing. There are at least a thousand Systematic Theology Books on Amazon, I wish it had been trained with that data then I could ask it to tell me the how they differ, etc. (since they must differ or they would be suing one another for copyright violations). 😀 Best regards, Craig

Hello Playpaltalk. Thank you for posting. Can you please explain what you mean and provide some examples? According to Grok's website, "Grok has primarily been pre-trained on a large corpus of publicly available information, including raw web page data, metadata extracts, and text extracts from the Internet. This data helps Grok learn about associations between words and updates its numbers and weights to support natural language processing.. Before using the training data, we apply quality filters and remove information that we do not want our models to learn from, such as violent content. We also apply security testing and evaluation measures. While Grok's training data may include personal information that is publicly available (for example, information about politicians, celebrities or other public figures), xAI takes steps to minimize the processing of personal and sensitive data for training purposes. For clarity, we do not actively seek out personal information to train our models or use personal information to build individual profiles."
