I greatly admire your Lab and look forward to see many more labs like yours in T&T. You are transforming this country and I fully support your venture.
Great looking lab! I have everything on that checklist except the hot plate. IMHO, unless someone is working on a lot of high thermal pcb's then I don't see it being that necessary.
You need a proper benchtop power supply with an overcurrent trip. It prevents the magic blue smoke from escaping. the function generator is for impendence testing mainly. Also, it can act as a noise generator to check if the devices are behaving properly. They are 2 important pieces of test equipment. the VHB tape can actually be purchased from Industrial Caribbean Distributors Limited in Trinidad and Tobago. Kinda expensive but worth it.
ooooo, thanks for the info, actually my DIY power supply has Over current, and Over power protection could check out more info about it here: ua-cam.com/video/Wcy9fMotm7Q/v-deo.html , I found it hard to buy one online and the cost to ship and clear it would have been $$$
Nice!! You got ac in there too? Our RC lab is a bedroom in our basement. It was my original guitar shop when I started @shumaker guitar works. Have a great day
Looked better before all the weird electronics was added lol jk. Awesome work! Let me know if u need a roomate to help pay the bills for your mansion one day--
the score sheet is completely ridiculous ! I have over 15-20K$ worth of component, and this is 3 points, but a 10$ extinguisher is worth 10 points ! What are the chance of creating a fire, when you play with 5-12 volts ??? Calculator: everybody has a cell phone. How many cell don't have a calculator ? Benchtop DMM = 3 points, but a non-benchtop is 2 points. Who freaking needs 50 decimals !?!? No mention about logic analyser or even a computer !
I mentions the the logic anlyser also and computer, but the point isn’t the give you points for having the most expensive set up, it to credit you for have essential tools, and you maybe pay with 5-12volts but the world of electronics can go much higher and also in negative if you are dealing with AC electronics, hmm they didn’t mention an isolated transformer also. The point of a extinguisher isnt because you have a high chance for a fire, it’s is on the low chance there is a fire you can safely put it without burning down your lab. And fires could from a faulty solder iron, or glue gun etc …. What did your lab get?
What Score did your lab get?
I'm impressed. Good use of space. We all love our labs!!!
Thanks alot

This why I don’t like to go to the hardware, I see and I want
@@JustBarran for real
It looks great bro , nice job ❤
Thanks 😊
Great stuff and encouraging also. Been thinking of a lab for ages but have not started yet.
Do it 👏🏽 , I did this in stages you could go through my videos and see how the lab changed over the past two years
Nice!! You got ac in there too? Our RC lab is a bedroom in our basement. It was my original guitar shop when I started @shumaker guitar works. Have a great day
Yeah I got a small portable ac in there, one thing I want to do is put it on a solar system, so once I back that a project for the future
Awesome, yea we all have to start somewhere, have a great day as well, and thanks for checking out the video
Awesome Stuff Bro Barran!! Do you want my RC circuit board 2.4GHz ?? We can barter for something from your shop!!!
Hey you can direct message me on instagram, not sure what are the specs on the board but if its interesting.
So, you going to just skip Oxford Helix Maths Set. The one tin that every Caribbean geek has!
ahahah i didnt think anyone would notice, "how to know you from the Caribbean without saying you are from the Caribbean"
where did you get all your stuff?
That’s a good question , tbh random places, is more like when I see something , or a lot of the stuff was because I needed it for a project
Looked better before all the weird electronics was added lol jk. Awesome work! Let me know if u need a roomate to help pay the bills for your mansion one day--
my bills are paid in ADA :( but you welcome anytime
Hey bro can I bring my T.V now?
Join the waiting list :D
@marc said it best :(
