    Great looking lab! I have everything on that checklist except the hot plate. IMHO, unless someone is working on a lot of high thermal pcb's then I don't see it being that necessary.

    You need a proper benchtop power supply with an overcurrent trip. It prevents the magic blue smoke from escaping. the function generator is for impendence testing mainly. Also, it can act as a noise generator to check if the devices are behaving properly. They are 2 important pieces of test equipment. the VHB tape can actually be purchased from Industrial Caribbean Distributors Limited in Trinidad and Tobago. Kinda expensive but worth it.

    • @JustBarran
      @JustBarran  3 роки тому

      ooooo, thanks for the info, actually my DIY power supply has Over current, and Over power protection could check out more info about it here: ua-cam.com/video/Wcy9fMotm7Q/v-deo.html , I found it hard to buy one online and the cost to ship and clear it would have been $$$

      That’s a good question , tbh random places, is more like when I see something , or a lot of the stuff was because I needed it for a project

    Hey bro can I bring my T.V now?

  • @jouellet100
    @jouellet100 3 роки тому +2

    the score sheet is completely ridiculous !
    I have over 15-20K$ worth of component, and this is 3 points, but a 10$ extinguisher is worth 10 points ! What are the chance of creating a fire, when you play with 5-12 volts ???
    Calculator: everybody has a cell phone. How many cell don't have a calculator ?
    Benchtop DMM = 3 points, but a non-benchtop is 2 points. Who freaking needs 50 decimals !?!?
    No mention about logic analyser or even a computer !

    • @JustBarran
      @JustBarran  3 роки тому

      I mentions the the logic anlyser also and computer, but the point isn’t the give you points for having the most expensive set up, it to credit you for have essential tools, and you maybe pay with 5-12volts but the world of electronics can go much higher and also in negative if you are dealing with AC electronics, hmm they didn’t mention an isolated transformer also. The point of a extinguisher isnt because you have a high chance for a fire, it’s is on the low chance there is a fire you can safely put it without burning down your lab. And fires could from a faulty solder iron, or glue gun etc …. What did your lab get?
