In Russian, it's quite funny, because Vanya is also a male name. In Russia, you are Ivan by passport, but friends and family call you Vanya. It's like when a girl's name is Varvara, but her friends call her Varya (it would make more sense to call 7 Varya). I've already gotten used to it for 2 seasons... now Ivan is Victor. But it could have been an Easter egg.

They kinda lost the peak of their fame after they grew up. They were still known, just not like on the level of Allison though.
I think for Alphonso‘s power it’s probably like that he needs to have enough stamina and concentration to block and reflect attacks. Diego‘s punches only started to hit when he started running out of air because of his asthma. And I think that he’s in general- If he’s not blocking attacks- very over sensitive so even light punches would create major damage on his skin and body (like how that one punch from Diego literally made his chin fall off). That would definitely explain his appearance as well. And since you guys have noticed the heavier swearing😂 - I definitely gotta say that while watching this season I realized why the age rating/ restrictions for this season went up. There is definitely much heavier swearing, as well as the mentioning of hard drugs, a loooot of alcohol, quite a lot of „sexual allusions“ as well as quite some gory scenes (leading to one of the most hilarious sequences in the show so far, don’t know on which episode you are on so I’ll leave it at that). And yes I gotta agree. One thing the Umbrella Academy manages to do very well definitely is that they always „re-invent“ themselves. Every season had its own „vibe“ to it without ever feeling repetitive.

Spoiler of comic of why So in the comic and later on some of it is shown a little, but Klaus is not just able to come back to life, but he is able to fly and use telecines. A power similar to Vanya's where she can float stuff around or float herself. Klaus can also use telepathy to talk to people through Tvs and radio's. This is shown once when he speaks to five through one. He's also given the ability to astro project basically, while also possessing anyone. While I believe he can also put spirits temporarily into bodies. He's said to be very OP in the comics. More than all the other children, apart from Vanya but his powers could near rival hers because of how similar they are.

not really because his transformation happened unannounced and in the season it happened so quickly like it was no build up and it's understandable why because it happened when they wasn't filming. so I understand people confusion about how this happens so quickly
Well it was kinda out of nowhere, but it doesn't seem unnatural to me cause Viktor was always pretty masculine, wearing pretty much jeans, big flannel shirts, denim jackets and boots etc with no makeup and sleek hair. I mean I dress like that too so it doesn't mean anything, but if he used to dress differently it would be way harder to make if feel natural. Also I think they didn't want to make it a big part of the storyline and probobly Elliot wanted just a supportive family for Viktor cause we don't really see that in TV, there is always so much dramatic motives with trans characters and he probably wanted the siblings to just say "cool, we still love you". Idk if it's in this episode it might be later but I also love Luther's reaction, it was really sweet. Btw Luther is way more likable now, I couldn't stand him last season

Zuff seems like that annoying friend from middle school that no one can stand to be around except for these guys who defend his idiotic nature, but only because they've been friends for so long. I think he has a learning disability and is unmedicated too, which they SHOULD disclose because it would explain why he says the dumbass shit he says. I am an autistic individual and I DO NOT like the comments he makes about Harlan. Talking about having to whoop him and shit. Fucking moron.
