Lecture 36: Everyday Memory & Memory Errors

The focus of this lecture is well evident from the title itself. It covers autobiographical memory, specifically memory and emotion, and flashbulb memory with experimental findings. We will also talk about the constructive nature of the memory with focus on source monitoring and misinformation effect-eyewitness testimony. In the later part, we will brief about the errors associated with attention, errors due to familiarity, due to suggestion, and finally the effect of post- event questioning.
