    God created with world in six days with His speech alone. At one point God found it necessary to share something with Adam, the first man, before continuing to create his wife and helpmate, Eve.
    What was it that God shared with Adam? Why was it necessary? And why at that point?
    And, more importantly, what does it mean for us? Why did God decide to include it in the Torah?
    These and many more issues addressed in this lecture at Chabad of Melrose, CA.

      Secrets of the Talmud the final authority on Jewish Traditions and legal interpretation of the Torah.
      Mishnah Niddah 5 :
      If the girl is less than that age, younger than three years and one day, the status of intercourse with her is not that of intercourse in all halakhic ( legal ) senses; rather, it is like placing a finger into the eye. Just as in that case, the eye constricts, sheds tears, and then returns to its original state, so too, in a girl younger than three years and one day old, the hymen returns to its original state.
      A girl who is three years and one day old, whose father arranged her betrothal, is betrothed through intercourse, as the halakhic status of intercourse with her is that of intercourse in all halakhic senses. Please wake up.

    Rabbi Manis Friedman I'm listening to you because I want to know the Jewish perspective of GOD. I'm a Christian but I have a curious nature about GOD. I enjoy your lessons. My pastor wouldn't approve of me doing this but He is not the GREAT I AM. My relationship with GOD is solid. Thanks for the Jewish perspective. Old Testament is still valuable and helps me validate my New Testament beliefs. Love Your lessons.

    Had a modern day panic attack, as if all I have learned is in vain. I put Rabbi Friedman on and it's as if my soul can breathe again. This, this had me in gushing tears. I and a woman I call my sister both have not had our mothers in our lives for too long. Knowing I was born out of a need, instead of against G-D's will (C-Section) and that the Creator could miss a soul like mine brought all what we learn of love in today's world into a whole new perspective. Going on 4 decades of not knowing G-D, my soul drinks in all that you speak of.

    Rabbi with all due respect. In Genesis 1:26 clearly says “Then God said”, "Let US make humankind in OUR image, (4) according to OUR likeness; God was never alone. 3 times He said US,OUR,and OUR. I agree it’s not good to be alone but the Torah clearly says it God was not alone. We are one part of his creation because God is infinite there are many Creations of God we are 1 of them. Not all of them.

    A couple of Shabbats, ago, I answered, in a class, that G-d needs us, to serve him, and not to be alone. I was, immediately, shot down by the Rabbi, saying G-d doesn't need anything because He is total chesed. I attend a Shul where being religious and Frum is mentioned a lot. They're wonderful people. I love going there but, I thank you for thexteaching you impart to us. It helps me to be Jewish so much more.

      If you go to a shul where the rabbi says that G-d doesn't need anything from us, or denies the fact that we're (supposed to be) in partnership with G-d in order to perfect the world/make this planet a dwelling-place for the divine...you ought to look for a new rabbi, or that rabbi ought to go back to school. Because that's Judaism 101.

    • @joycealdrich
      @joycealdrich Рік тому

      @@WALSTIB107 Thankfully, he's not our Shul Rabbi, but one who comes in to teach classes. I skip his classes. Whenever I can fit it into the conversation, I talk about our mission to serve HaShem, and that he needs us to bring Him into the world. Rabbi Friedman is known and beloved by many, so when I mention what he teaches, it's met with understanding and nodding of heads. There are other Rabbis teaching at our Shul who are starting to talk more like Rabbi Friedman. It's good.

We have had a relationship with The One True Creator G_d for thousands of years. We honor the 4 Nations in our medicine wheels. The Hebrew/ Jews are considered Asian, it's in the Torah. They did occasionally inter-marry. Mosche's first wife was an Ethiopian Princess, when he was still the highest ranking leader of Pharaoh's army. God owns and has everything. So, what can you give someone who has everything? Your presence, your company. I know when I love someone because the first thing I want to do is spend time with them and give them gifts. It blesses God when we show up to talk. Hopefully sharing some good and joyful parts of our lives and plans as well as complaining about problems and seeking advice. We're supposed to be learning his ways to solve our problems not always expecting him to do it for us. God really wants us to get to know him better because you can't trust someone you don't know, and you can't know anyone you don't spend time with all you know is hearsay. Is what you heard true? Go to the source and find out for yourself!

      The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach, The Real Word of G_d, with a whole lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did! Christianity is not the group that they claim to be, Christianity is a Wolf in sheep's clothing!
