As person with small hands, the G203 is the most comfortable mouse I've ever had (Then again, it is my first gaming mouse). Also a common misconception is that it's not good for palm grip, this is wrong (for people with small hands). Its shape is actually great for palm grip depending on your hand size. If you like 3 RGB lights and have small hands, I would suggest the G203 Lightsync.
Great review. Had to watch it on 0.75 to not miss anything though, when you talk that fast and without little breaks it's hard to absorb everything you have to say without missing important bits =D
I live in turkey and there is a huge price difference between the two (160TL VS 300TL) of course this reflects on quality but I think I will prefer rival 3 xd thanks for video it worked for me.
The only issue is that Logitech G203/102 has faulty hardware ( poor quality component ) which in long run will result in double clicking issue due to static buildup or something like that. It's not hard to replace/upgrade the component if you have soldering skills and tools, but I'd rather just go for Rival 3.
Not a great idea as the sensor is designed to track optimally at a certain difference. Some slightly thicker feet instead would be fine, but much thick would most likely mess up the performance.
If using a low sensitivity you often have to lift up your mouse as you run out of mouse pad. If the tracking distance is high then sometimes when you lift off to readjust the mouse it will move your crosshair in game. This can really mess up your aim depending on the situation. Hopefully that makes sense, let me know if it does. If not I'll try explain better.
Thanks. I think the Rival 3 is better value for money and I really liked it but in your case I think I would probably buy the G203 as the sensor is better.
I bought both, first I got the G203 but had a huge amount of LOD, then decided to get the Rival 3, same issue, now I have both and don't know what to do, before those two I had a G502 but it got damaged so I wanted a new cheap mouse but ended up disappointed with both, could you recommend me another one? I can spend a bit more this time (I play shooters and precision type of games, that's why lift off distance its important to me). New sub and subscriber 👀
I never experienced any while using the mouse however obviously that doesn't mean there isn't an issue. I'd like to think they would have fixed it though
I have been very undecided between these 2 mouses. The game that I play the most is fortnite, I have a mixture of palm grip and claw grip and my hands measure 16/17 cm. Which one should I buy?
Out of these two probably the G203 because of the lower lift off distance, particularly in a game like CSGO where a lower sensitivity is used. Personally I prefer the Razer Viper Mini ua-cam.com/video/EduZOPSRckA/v-deo.html because of its low weight so it's the mouse I am currently using.
What is your budget? I also have 18cm hands and I use claw grip. I love the Endgame XM1 RGB. It's a bit more pricey though, the non RGB version is a little bit cheaper and doesn't have too many less features in terms of performance
Bro i already ordered g102 lightsync (same with 203 lightsync) i hope to get satisfied with it and not regret btw do you recommand me to buy qck mousepad medium or just g series mousepad i go with?
Firstable thank you for this great video. I am living in Turkey and here there is a huge prize diffirence between g203(180 TL) and rival 3(300 TL).Also I am using claw grip can you help me which one should I buy?
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed. Both these mice are good for claw grip and everything else isn't too different. I would get the cheaper one, buy whichever has the lowest price.
I've had the g203 for a year now, it doesn't work anymore, was thinking about the switch but don't really know yet, I also want to know how a higher lift off is a bad thing
Most noticeable on low sensitivities, when you reach the end of your mousepad you lift up your mouse to move it back to the middle. If the lift off distance is too high, your cursor or crosshair while move while you are readjusting. Which is a bad thing. Hopefully that makes some sense?
@@Tekify oh wow thank you for your thoughts but I ordered the Rival 3 even though Viper Mini is cheaper here. I think I like the design better and after going thru a lot of reviews, I also found out that Viper mini needs the app open and you have to set it every time for it to work unlike the Rival 3 which also has a better RGB design. Praying my hands would love it like G203.
Logitec Mouse are great but they all have one common problem. ,which is the software . The software is not 100% compatible with windows system . windows does 'nt allow the software to operate separately and tries to take over the control . The result is stuttering and inconsistently in tracking. The sensor is accurate but inconsistent in tracking . This has been a problem with Logitec for many years and unfortunately it has'nt been resolved yet . I had Logitec G pro hero and couple of others and eventually I bought a steelseries Rival 3 wierd one and never looked back . I shoulda ve done this much earlier. . I’ve never seen a mouse like the rival 3, so precise and accurate and most importantly , so consistent in accurate tracking . Looking for a decent gaming mouse ? get yer focus on 2 things . 1- the shape . 2- how consistent the sensor is in tracking.
I was looking for my first mouse around this price range, honestly don’t know my palm style but I’m 20.5/21 by 11 cm if helps, a good all around mouse but probably mostly for FPS like Squad, Hell let Loose etc. I love the look of these, specially the g203 but maybe a bit too small?
I think you will probably find the G203 too small, what do you think about the look of the Glorious Model D? Where I am it is very close in price to the G203 and will probably suit you better
@@Tekify is that a good brand, i have just started looking at mice and first time actually hearing of that brand but i'll watch some reviews, are there any other mice from more well known brands like logitech, steelseries etc at a slightly Higher price that i should look out for a promotion?
They are a newer brand but for the most part are pretty good. I'll have a think and get back to you. I haven't tested many bigger mice but I'll look around and suggest some for you to look up. For the most part anything from SteelSeries and Logitech will be pretty good so you can't really go wrong
Have a look at the price of the Deathadder V2, it will probably be out of budget but if not it could be a good option. The Deathadder essential I made the video on was pretty bad so I wouldn't recommend it
I would say the G203 because it has a lower lift off distance. For the flick itself neither mouse will be better than the other but when you have to lift the mouse to readjust its position you have to lift the Rival 3 higher or it will move the cursor which you obviously don't want.

Fantastic! I was strugling few weeks with the hesitation of which of both to buy. Now, I will go for the Riva 3 or Rival 110. Thanks sir.
I'm glad to help. Let me know what you decide on
@@Tekify WEll, bad news sir.. I have decided for the logitech g203 xD being honest I fell really comfortable with this mice.

It's important to mention the endurance of the clicks. Only 10M in the g203, 35M in the steelseries
Nice comparison, really helped me when making my decision
Thanks, glad you found it helpful
the problem with the LOD on the rival 3 makes me sad man.. i still use the rival 100 cuz it is hands down the best shape ever.
Yeah it's such a shame. I really like the Rival 3 and it would be a really good mouse for the price if the lift off distance wasn't an issue.
I still use rival 100
@@michaelbraxtonora7442 I use rival 110 :)
what about buying extra feet from aliexpress and stacking them on top of the ones that come with the rival 3? 🤔
Not a great idea as the sensor is designed to track optimally at a certain difference. Some slightly thicker feet instead would be fine, but much thick would most likely mess up the performance.
about their scrollwheel button: which of these feels more comfortable when having it pressed for longer time and at clicking?

hey, nice review but im wondering why tracking distance matters?

both sensors are good, same dpi and neither should give any issues with tracking

Any recommendations for good lightweight mouse for palm grip?
I'd go with G402 if only it had weighed under 100 grams. If only...
Have a look at the Glorious Model D or D- (D Minus unless your hands a very big). The D- is just 61g and is good for palm grip
