Thank you Mel for this encore. I appreciated it the first time I heard it, but had forgotten some very important things said in this interview. Now that my best friend (only in her 50’s) has been diagnosed with dementia, I’m listening and learning in a different way - like seeing through different lenses so to speak and taking away things from it that I am going to implement straight away. The timing that this is being aired couldn’t be more spot on. Grazie mille!!!!

I do infrared fitness and yoga several times a week. Yes we need to keep our strength, flexibility and agility.
The most profound thing i heard years ago was every emotion starts with a thought. We subconsciously think things and wonder why we feel the way we do. Ive been practicing mindfulness thru my day to be a thought detective.

Somehow Mel, in the videos I've watched over the last month or two, I feel like I'm watching a progression to more and more advocating/advertisement for a "product"? Links are great and thanks, but I'm also having a tough time (as a former nurse who just watched the US medical community go stupid-gaga swallowing whole questionable "science", and yes including the CDC and not getting adequate information on vaccine risk vs benefit). I no longer kneel at the alter of science, especially small data sets of studies when I don't know who paid to have the research performed. I fell in love you Mel because I found you to be AUTHENTIC! Now I'm wondering at what feels like a commercialization of your work? I also love you I believe in part because I was married to a public defender for years and I think I appreciate how part of you approaches your topics. You are a rare gem Mel and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help you have given to me and to the folks I've shared your videos with. If you are going to advertise "science" then hire someone to evaluate those studies in light of potential bias, please. I dont want to see your vision and talent get watered down by over enthused, pop psychology...Are you in??💜

I always have firstly greens either mixed or arugula. Then i put tbsp wheatgrass powder. Ill put carrots and a piece or small pepper. Then frozen fruit usually i like mango. Then a bit of water not much maybe 1/4 cup.
Blueberries i eat whole and not in smoothies because they make it goopy.

They looked forward to that brain with joy, but without haste, not pining for it, but seeming to have a foretaste of it in their hearts, of which they talked to one another. But when they looked at me with their sweet eyes full of love, when I felt that in their presence my heart, too, became as innocent and just as theirs, the feeling of the fullness of life took my breath away, and I worshipped them in silence. Their children were the children of all, for they all made up one family.

i don't understand how someone can watch this an not immediately buy those supplements haha. i am a sucker for this stuff, and to hear a doctor be SO smart, and then just casually mention how important a high quality multi and fish oil (high quality purified) are, yeah it's just like, how do we not buy them immediately?

Maybe if you consider, that some supplement dosages that you don't actually need, can harm instead of help you?

Mel, this was an awesome Podcast! So much information all at once. I’d love my teens to hear this. 🌈

I hear you. It's so hard to teach teens, my kids are 31 & 29 & all I can say is to lead by example. I was known to put random quotes, thoughts, reminders, etc. around in bathroom or on a kitchen cabinet. Sometimes 1 would ask a question or make fun of it & we'd laugh & I'd just say "think about it". Recently I learned how to watch my Mel videos on my TV & my 31 y.o. walked in& listened with me. She's got everything Mel's ever written. I'd do an AI or internet search about communicating with your teen. I doubt they're learning about life skills in school. As parents we're the responsible one. You've got this.

Brain is not just extreme pleasure. Brain is the realization of immortality and the realization that everything is heaven. When you realize that, it's so good, it's infinitely good. It's not just good. It's good to the infinite degree. It's so much goodness that you can't contain it. your body can't hold it. Your entire body shakes and shudders in a cosmic orgasm of bliss. It's perfection. It's total peace. It's absolute love, that's truly brain.

I would love if you would ask him or another doctor which supplements are okay to take with SSRIs! I really want to start them, but I'm worried about overloading my brain.

I want to like him and what he has to say. I'm troubled by something he said in one of his own podcasts. He said that cannabis is a vasoconstrictor. He doesn't recommend it cuz of that. He's wrong about that. Cannabis is a vasodilator. I've been using cannabis for years to help treat my fibromyalgia. It's helped my opiates to work more effectively. I was able to cut my dose from using it daily. I'm not someone who uses it during the day. I medicate in the evenings. I can't listen to him until he addresses that. What else is he saying that isn't accurate? I just want him to say rectify that. I can still listen but it's there yelling at me 🥴😂 He is fascinating. I already adore you 🥰
