    This parking lot is incredible: NO modern car, only classics, sports, racing cars all mostly post war cars but also some vintage and pre war. Litteraly breathkating. Tank you for the visit.

    the "gangster" Bentley was cool. the white '51 Caddy on the hauler is probably a replica of the car Brooks Cunningham raced at LeMans(10th overall finish). the orange SAAB 95 wagon is a favorite of mine.

    Nice video! And great to see your enthusiasm for the variety of old cars displayed! The Lagonda towards the end is a 2 litre built in Staines, London in 1929.

      Glad you liked it. Was so many amazing cars. It's great to see the cars such as the Lagonda still being displayed and cared for after such a long amount of time. I should hopefully have a few more videos coming out from the Revival soon and do many other videos like this at other shows so if you want to see more feel free to subscribe 🙂

    Hi can you get in for free to just look at the pre-66 and tax exempt car parks. The pre-66 and tax exempt car parks and to just take some pictures of the classic cars and which car park do you park in to look at the classic cars only ?

    • @MaxWolfMedia
      @MaxWolfMedia  3 місяці тому

      Yes this video here was of the "free" area. I think all of the parking for the event is the same (and also free). If you go to the event and just want to see this part then just drive in and park in the normal event parking and then just walk into this part

    Also do you have the link for Nick's videos?

    I fear your Bentley at 2.07 is not a pukka vintage Bentley , though remarkably and intentionally similar to the genuine article which belonged to Babe Barnato back in 1930. Your featured vehicle MXS 682, is one of the evocations built by Bob Petersen down in Dorset using either a MkV1 chassis or a period RR chassis fitted with either a 50's 4.5 litre Bentley engine , or alternativly a commercial B80 Straight Eight engine: The replica coachwork is indeed a joy to behold, though can easily provoke a trompe l'oeil in the unwary .

      or could be Racing Green Engineering car ?

    • @MaxWolfMedia
      @MaxWolfMedia  10 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the info, I'm not sure if I've seen one of these before so wouldn't be able to identify a genuine article from a clone. Still absolutely beautiful and a true testament to the quality of their work. There was another one at 43:53, was that also made by the same people?

      @@MaxWolfMedia Without the facility of opening the door to view the constructor's inscription on the flitch plate ,it's really impossible to say : it could be a product of the Petersen workshop or, as pointed out by another commentator, an equally tantalising offering from British Racing Green. Between them I believe around 10 such evocations have been produced over the past decade or two. They were originally touted as recreations of the legendary 'Blue Train' , a myth perpetuated by Terence Cuneo's acclaimed painting : the definitive authority on vintage Bentleys ,Dr Clare Hay ,has subsequently shown and proven that the actual Blue Train beating car was carrying more formal Mulliner 'D' back coachwork, and that in recent years that original coachwork has been reunited with the original winning chassis . The proliferation of these 'copies' is controversial and is often an emotive topic amongst the afficianados and cognoscenti in the BDC and VSCC.

    Amazing content. But, your audio needs improvement and I would have liked for you to stop at a few more cars that you find interesting.

    • @MaxWolfMedia
      @MaxWolfMedia  10 місяців тому +1

      Glad you liked the video. I have to thought this about the audio, most of the time it is alright but using the phones microphone can be very limiting at times. I may look into getting a microphone at some point as it would definitely increase the production value. I'll try to stop and look over a few more cars next time as well, if I had known how much time I would have had in the end to film all of it then I probably would have done a bit more looking around. An absolutely amazing turnout out non the less 😎

    Thanks for the video Max. I'm always amazed at the jaw-dropping quantity, quality and rarity of cars there in just the car park of the "main event".
    It's like a parallel universe from the 1970s where you walk past rows of mint Jaguar e-types and it's the lone Mk3 Cortina that stands out! 🛻😍

    • @MaxWolfMedia

      Really is something special. If I don't go into the main show itself next year I will still probably go along just to do the car park again 😎

    What a parking lot! Thanks for sharing @maxwolfmedia. It's pronounced 'LahGonDa, short vowel O, like dog. That particular one looks like a speed 2, officially called the 14/60. I think it's supercharged, and made 60hp. Lovely en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagonda_14/60#:~:text=to%20external%20coachbuilders.-,2%20Litre%20Speed%20Model,(130%20km%2Fh).
