I got my J&J in early feb. I made the tragic mistake of getting the jab while I was on a 24 hour Gynae call at Baragwanath. It started out alright, but by the time I reached the 6-8 hour mark, I had a pounding headache, the muscle aches were crippling, and I had such bad rigors that I could barely write my patient notes. All this, however, pales in comparison to the fact that my joints began to feel like somebody infused shards of glass into them at around the point of the call where I was making frequent trips to and from bloodbank. 37,000 excruciating steps were made on that call. Each one reminding me that I was an idiot ;)
I only just finished with uni for the year and haven't had a holiday since July but I plan on editing and posting soon now that I have time. Apologies for the delay!
Panado is paracetamol and Corenza C contains vitamin C, aspirin and other contents used for flu symptom relief; I'm not sure of any alternatives to Corenza C. Paracetamol will help with the fever and anything you take when you get the flu with body aches will help. If in doubt contact your local doctor.

We don't have Corenza C here in Germany. I wonder what i can take instead. And is one of those medicines you took an equivalent to paracetamol?
