- Reviewing the Yeti Hopper Flip 12 the best soft cooler on the market today. This is an excellent cooler for a day trip for 2 people or a 48 hour trip for one person.
I'm using the Yeti Ice Blocks because they are reusable, keeps water contained, and they fit nicely in this cooler as shown in the review.
This Cooler will keep your drinks and food cold for 48 hours, if you are out longer than that or are in extremely hot weather you may need to add some ice in addition to the 8lbs of reusable Ice I'm showing in this review (1X 4lbs large and 2X 2lbs medium ice)

Good one mate. Loved the review. Definitely something that would suite me on Motorcycle Camping trips. 👍
My dad got me one for my birthday 3 years ago and I never used it, fast forward to today I use it everyday for work now! And for road trips and going to the beach and things like that. I love it! 😂
It’s a solid cooler! Really can’t go wrong with it!
Best lunch box ever
I just took the plunge on this cooler - I was going to buy the Rtic, but I really like the shorty handles and removable strap feature and the size fits perfectly on my adventure motorcycle. The little hoops make it easy to secure the bike. The zipper becomes easier once you lube it up pretty good.
I looked at the RTC too, I liked this one for the same reasons. It’s a solid cooler that’ll last me a long long time

Dont forget to pre chill the cooler, i throw mines in the deep freezer with the lid open, for about a hour before i pack it
That works! I have a couple old Ice packs I throw in to pre chill, then I switch them out with fresh ice before heading out.
Zipper broke after 2 years, YETI replaced it with a new one. 😊
No company is perfect but you gotta appreciate a company that’ll step up and make things right when something goes wrong
All the RTIC bots trying to pretend this cooler is garbage are hilarious. 3 years of use. Every single day. Used aggressively. My zipper is as good as the day I got it. #Yeti
These coolers are stupid good 👍🏽
Great cooler, except the zipper is not user friendly and you need both hands to open it. I bought one to keep in my car, but too hard to unzip frequently while sitting in my car, so I sold it and went back to using my $40 Stanley cooler, happily !
Awesome I just wish the zipper would last longer
What issues have you had with the zipper? Mine has held up well
@@gearsNtools I use it a lot everyday it was just not wking like it should be ..maybe it was a bad one ..
I had sent it back to yeti and still have not received anything yet
@@armandomada633have they replaced it? I’m thinking of buying one and want to know if they are willing to replace.
Yeti thin ice is better, more room
I have some of those too. I use them on shorter trips. I still like the thick ones, they last longer
For the cost of a yeti I can buy a generator and a small frig. along with a years supply of fuel.
I like the compact size. There are some knock offs out there that are around $80-100.
Personally I like to support US companies
So, your the jerk that runs his generator at the camp sites just to keep his "overlanding" frig. going :D
@@gearsNtools I do to but I will not support a US company that does not support my right to own and bare arms. YETI does not which is why they were given an F by the NRA.
@@russellkeeling4387 f yeti commies
Yeah because you are gonna bring all that for a day on the lake smh why don’t you just say your a cheap ass that buys igloo
The best dam cooler money can buy A, doesn’t have a pos zipper and B all ended up in clearance because no one was stupid enough to buy them
Until the zipper breaks an the won't fix it then its garbage
I haven't had issues with mine, frankly a quality zipper should never break regardless of if it's on a cooler, bag, or case.
You tell Yeti, they replace it. Cant get easier than that.
crappy broken zipper, rtic is better and ice lasts longer for 1/3 the price.
I haven't had issues with mine. if your zipper broke, send it back they'll make it right.
rtic, lol
It’s the most expensive cooler money can buy there’s a difference 😂not the best!!
Which is the best then?
