Nice video. AWESOME boat man. We run calm rivers and lakes in Michigan. So my Pungo 120 is just right. We hit bottom a lot in the shallower rivers. Was the hydration bladder included or purchased seperately?
Great review…the newly designed clips to fasten are significant over original for sure. How are the sleeves designed for storage on this one? Love the low profile and solid colour.
The sleeve design can hold many different items because they work like pockets. A Yeti thermos fits perfect in them! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! 😊👍
The Kalleq was purchased from White Squall in Ontario Canada. My original deck pod was purchased from Pagaie Quebec. The new Deck Pod was sent to me directly from Gearlab.
Is the main compartment waterproof yet? It’s the only complaint I had about the first one. Doesn’t look like a water proof zipper to me so I’m guessing no…
Nice review, I have the new deck pod as well and the Kalleq paddle. Just one comment to future Gearlab purchasers in Canada. I would not buy directly from Gearlab if at all possible as Canada Customs will gouge you big time as will your Visa U.S. dollar exchange and you’ll pay U.S. shipping costs as well. I bought my Kalleq in Canada but couldn’t find the new deck pod so I bought it directly from Gearlab. In the end it was ridiculously expensive. Buy from Canadian dealers not Gearlab.
Yes, a useful organizer. Comfortable and looks good on the boat. I am inclined to buy. Nice review, Mike!
Thank you for your kind words! Very much appreciated! You will enjoy it! 😊👍
Another quality review. Beautiful camera work. Thanks Mike.
Thank you so much for the kind words and support! 😊👍
Great review. Thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to watch. 😊👍
Mike how well did the metal zipper hold out with salt water?
Honestly can’t talk to that. I live in the Great Lakes basin. All freshwater. 😊👍

Hydration is a platypus 2 L Reservoir purchase separate. I hear Michigan is absolutely gorgeous.
@@MikeProut Yes it can be. THe Manistee from Hoden Pyle Dam down to the Red bridge is really nice. We are going July 6th.
@@MikeProut We just have Recreational Kayaks (Pungo 120's). I am itching for an Eddyline though
@@groovymoon enjoy!😊👍
@@MikeProut Which Platypus the "Big Zip EVO"? THere are a couple different ones at 2L.. THanks again
And I am going to subscribe
Thanks for the review! Can you tell me the make of the little chair? Looks like just what the doctor ordered.
Thanks for watching! The chair is a helinox chair zero. 😊👍
@@MikeProut I'll look into it. Thanks

@@MikeProut Could the pockets hold/secure spare paddle shafts?
Maybe if you get creative but not sure!
Yeah, this is the one I'll probably splash out on, this Autumn.
You will love it!
Did you purchase it directly from Gearlab? I'm worried about customs and duties. Same question with the Kalleq.

It’s definitely not waterproof. In fact, they’ve increased the amount of mesh in the bottom to make it shed water very quickly.

For sure! Agreed 💯 %.
