I went in drag and saw the Golden Girls event live and let me say this- I enjoyed myself so much and loved watching both of you! After the show, Alexis came to my table and told me, in front of my mom who I brought along, that she thought I looked so pretty, and I happily died inside. And then when I went to get pictures with everyone Darby asked me how I have the nerve to come here looking like this, and I died again! Overall, thank you both for being so kind to me and giving my mother and I a wonderful night show, I really appreciate it

When I go to a local drag show, I might likely see a queen s*** out an apple and someone else eat it. So I think it does not matter at all that Silky was not too polished but she was witty and funny and entertaining which is the only purpose of someone on stage. The fact that Trinity was dressed as a cat the whole episode probably didn’t help her mood. Kylie looked stun at the angle she was at after she took her shitty little hat off and RaJah was purple but still looked amazing the whole time.

SILKY NUTMEG GANACHE!!!!!!!!!!
Now THATS the rudemption she really needed all along and I really wish this Silky with this mindset is what we had from the beginning of the season. Pre AS6 I was really hoping Silky was going to go far because she really has the entire package when she is on her A game but her head was just not in the right competitive spirit. The Silky we saw in this episode absolutely was! I do think she relied a bit too much on props at times but overall she did an amazing job!
Serena vs Jiggly: I'm sorry y'all but Serena 100% won that in my opinion. I just don't think they wanted Jiggly to feel like she would "unofficially" be the first out if they let Serena win that. Once Serena took off that coat, it was by far the best I've ever seen her look (that padding was on point!). It wasn't the best performance ever but she was having fun, did some more unique moves than the typical staple drag race lipsync moves we always see, and was showing more energy and passion than Jiggly. Jiggly was just kind of standing around and not doing much for the majority of that lipsync. Her split was mediocre as best (no where near as good as her St Tropaz jumping split in s4) and it was way overhyped, especially by Ginger who is incredibly biased towards her.
Jiggly vs Silky: This was my favorite of Silky's stunts. Making a cocktail on stage from her never ending pocket dimension titties is fucking hilarious. That moment when she was drinking her cocktail and mimicking lipsyncing nonchalantly with her hands was my absolute favorite moment!
Silky vs Yara: Kind of meh all around. I cracked up when Yara started scratching her gooch but once it went on for like 10+ seconds then it got a bit weird. If she did it quickly and kept moving it would have been so much better and funnier. I love Yara but she's not the best lipsyncer so this was a pretty easy one for Silky to win. Good thing that Silky used her least exciting stunt for this lipsync.
Silky vs Silky: THE GAG!!!!!! That was such an iconic and entertaining lipsync. It was a bit messy at times but there is also such a charm to that style of messy lipsyncing which really helped amp up the camp and entertainment value of it all. Fucking amazing! Also, I am shocked that A'Keria turned it down! I did not expect that whatsoever she seems like such a fighter -- if there was any queen who I feel like would have turned it down I thought it would have been Pandora because she seemed lowkey relieved and just wanted to have sex again with her partner when she was eliminated lol
Silky vs Scarlet: Fuck I love Scarlet so much and she looked gorgeous but definitely agree that it was still a Silky win. Scarlet was bouncing around a bit too much and doing the same thing over and over. Silky really didn't need the flag twirling stunt here and this is when I started rolling my eyes a bit at the unnecessary stunts because she would have won just fine doing what she was already doing. The flag twirling didn't really fit in that well with her lipsync and just felt out of place. Also, Silky looked GORGEOUS in that blonde wig!!!
Silky vs Jan: I am not a Jan stan but I genuinely feel like this is where Silky's reign should have ended because I think Jan won that lipsync. The ONLY reason why Silky won this lipsync was solely due to a prop that she brought. Jan was winning for 90% of that lipsync and the tide only changed once the top 4 queens reacted so positively to the prop Silky had that Jan did not have. For story purposes I think it is better that Silky won solely because this win streak is iconic but then that starts going into risky "do we let her win solely due to the story or who actually did better" territory which is definitely going to be considered in the Silky v Eureka performance since Eureka did miles better
Silky vs Pandora: THIS IS THE PANDORA I ENJOY SO MUCH! WHERE WAS THIS PANDORA THE ENTIRE SEASON. Pandora in AS6 really was the eyore of drag and just felt so depressed and defeated at all times. There was a completely different energy that Pandora felt here. She felt quick-witted, sarcastic, and intelligent. THIS is the evolution from the amazing s2 Pandora that I expect. Always one step ahead with a quip. I wish this was the Pandora we got all season. Though for the lipsync, definitely a Silky win still. I am happy that Silky didn't rely on stunts this lipsync. She still had a reveal but the reveal wasn't a ~stunt~ that won her the lipsync. She won the lipsync by giving an excellent performance with lots of dancing and energy.
Silky vs Eureka: Silky NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! This is what happens when you get in your head and keep thinking you have to out-stunt each previous performance. She got wrapped up in the "story" she was trying to sell and it came off messy. Every lipsync this episode of Silky's felt like a refreshed and eager to compete Silky except for this lipsync where it felt like she fell back down into that S11 "talk the talk but not walk the walk" trope she exuded back then. She had one more lipsync to really keep that phenomenal charismatic energy alive and come back to the competition but (I am going to say this with complete honesty) she bombed this lipsync. It was unfortunate to watch since she had such an excellent story behind her and so much momentum to win. Eureka didn't do anything super special, it was the same ole high kick moves that she always does, but still outperformed Silky.
Overall, I really hope Eureka comes back next week for 2 reasons:
Having a queen come back this late in the game is so stupid (ala my rants about how stupidly late this rudemption was in my past few week comments) and no one that will be brought back will EVER be taken serious except for Eureka since she will not have missed any episodes after her elimination. Though, since she was still technically eliminated once, she will only probably be taken 50% seriously as a competitor.
^ See the point above, SINCE no one except Eureka will be taken seriously as a comeback queen this late in the game, having Silky lose will be FANTASTIC for her reputation because she will now forever be known for her iconic 6-lipsync-win-streak and getting cut off at the very end rather than a queen who comes back and immediately gets eliminated again. Let's be real, if Silky did come back, they will do whatever they can to make sure she is the next eliminated anyways. I can atleast see Eureka making it another episode into the top 4. They wouldn't do that for Silky who has been gone nearly all season. Leaving on a note of an iconic 6-lipsync-win-streak is 1000x better than actually coming back and being eliminated right away like Morgan.
