been a big fan of this channel bec all other channels dont even take in the environment and open the documents. learned a lot of indie horror games here too. Thanks for this smooth run! :)
Someone said i should change channel description to "no nonsense gameplays" Maybe i should change channel description to "no nonsense smooth ass gameplays" now, haha. Thanks for watching.
For real, I was watching this game on another channel and had to stop and look for someone else because they just jump from objective to objective without paying attention to the environment. What's the point if you walk by all of the scary stuff and don't give it a looksie?
was thinking of getting this game but knew i would be too scared to play it. thank you for this video and looking at the scenery. i love looking at game visuals and it’s always sad to see someone just going from quest to quest instead of soaking in the environment. can’t wait to see more from you!
Outlast on an oil rig. My problem with Outlast and possibly this game is it’s highly unrealistic that you won’t try to kill or hurt someone especially if they are literally trying to kill you.
Actually, I have to ask myself, if the creature really wasn't the victim in all of this. It seemed like the oil rig probably drilled into it, causing it to lash out defensively, with the mutation of the crew being some some sort of defense mechanism. The mutation drove them insane, but it seems they were free willed, and not under the control of the creature, which never struck me as being particularly malevolent, either. I also see little evidence it was ever interested in actually trying to reach the mainland, being an aquatic being.
I agree. I actually feel bad for the creature because it is not doing anything on purpose it seems. It's just defending itself because technically we are the monsters in this situation 😅
@@oddcrafter1270 I mean the thing has spent an utterly unknown, but probably simply massive amount of time just buried under the ocean sediment, likely dreaming, without bothering anyone, until the rig drills into it, which probably hurts like hell, injuring it in the process, so it's response isn't all that hard to understand in that context.
The game itself is not too inspiring, but I admire the effort how they utilizing this oil rig environment. So this organism/matter really was sealed or hibernated down there before there was ocean, seems Trots and Rennick are both incapable of adapting to underwater environment. It just uses the oil rig as trellis to reach out for air.
Honestly, I didn’t trust the Chinese Room to make a good horror game after what Machine for Pigs turned into. But from what I’ve seen of this game so far, it’s a huge improvement. This might actually restore a bit of my hope about them developing Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
@@UrbanAgentofChaos Honestly, the story was awesome (even if some Aztec references were really obscure) but the gameplay.. you need to work hard to get killed/catched by monstrosities, the puzzles were rather weak, many scares just fall flat and everything Is pigs (a bit too much tbh) It was not a bad game by any means, but after the Dark Descent people thought it would be something else.
I just watched this by that other horror gamer, HGH Horror Games House who beat you to it, albeit just barely--Gotta stay ahead of the competition, though I generally do prefer your replays!
Yeah i've been busy these last couple months and haven't been on the ball with uploads like i should be, my apologies. Shout out to HGH, another horror nut!

Thanks for slowing down and looking at the scenery unlike most other uploaders.

Watched it all in one go at midnight, as intended. Awesome gameplay, thanks!
I love how the captions translate Scottish slang into their relevant insults and curses.
Thank you PB for another great playthrough! Much love.
A game with Scottish accents proud
Even the carpet has a scottish accent!

@@hydro.pl.27 Yeah I've always been baffled about that game trend.
I have never seen so realistic graphics before. Metal surfaces alone... wow! 😮

It was because the game said it was, they wouldn't add that pressure on the player for nothing.

Interesting thought... 🤔

Came to this video because like every other uploader for this just whizzed past the game lmfao Thank you for this
This looks cool... although, I had to briefly scan through it, as I want to play it!
Great playthrough, thanks!
They did my boy innes dirty.

They've done real good with this one. Its kind of like The Thing/Alien vibes, but on an oil rig.
Was Machine For Pigs really that bad?

@@l.e.b.3541 I really loved the Mesoamerican undertones tho. And the pigmen were pretty creepy.
By the title of this game this better be a cosmic horror story 🐙🦑
Man, Artistcaleb would have LOVED this game 😿😿
I miss him too man 😿
Significantly less thalassophobia than I was hoping for, but still quite good.

You should play or at least check out Signalis by rose engine
It looks interesting and apparently its like Silent Hill. Its the camera angle and that 2d style thats made me hesitate. I'll check it out though
This horror game is pretty cool but there are several things I don't understand about it.
Love the fantastic video can you do Far cry 3,AVP 2 2003 and King Kong 2005
Man what a cluster phuck😮
Seen this games playthrough now one time on another channel.. weird ending and not so great what i expected.
3D Carrion, finally
Everytime steam stops the player's progress, there's always a steam shutoff valve two feet away. Why even have the steam?
Haha
Brother are u from also Punjab?
love it, but very let down it's only 3 1/2 hours long 😕
Probably for the best, honestly. I haven’t seen the full game yet, but a longer game may have created problems with things like pacing and tension.
Plus, this isn't a blind walkthrough. 1st run you'll probably get 4 to 6 hours.
@@PBHorrorGaming I eat humble pie. Played it, loved it, and it didn't outstay its welcome.

Not really scary, but still a goof game
60 fps but clear frame drops :/
Just like a woman. The husband goes out to make a living for the family, the wife complains and threatens divorce. Ungrateful
Stay mad.
You gotta thank feminist for that 😅 . Setting up that kind of mindset to the modern woman
He caved someone's head in and ran to the rig to avoid jail. Use subtitles
Not if he`s done something that is ultimately going to put him jail. Then he`s probably not gonna make living for his family. Read the full story.
how did you miss the point that badly, you're the sexist one here.
