    Blaine or Chad, what are you thoughts on unrack speed? I find that getting set, then unracking fast/explosively helps the weight feels lighter and more controllable.

    Malanichev tells you to keep your feet together while unracking and then get to your stance, he said it helps with keeping the back thight.

      It helps to bunch up the muscle mass on your back to have something for the bar to sit on. It also helps to keep your back tight along with pulling down on the bar throughout the lift. Keeping the back tight stops any leakage of power from the hips.

      Allows the upper back to be as tight as possible, only problem is that it may agitate shoulders/ wrists of some people

    Should the first step be with the strong leg or the weaker one?

    not a low bar squatter myself but is there a chance of the bar just sliding off and ripping your arms off with it?

    No better walkout in the game right now.

    I think I would agree with him that the 2 step walkout is better than 3 steps, but it would still be cool to see demonstrations of many different ways that people walk out the bar so we can try them out.

    This video is enough evidence for me to believe that there should be separate squat records for the monolift and a walked out squat.

    • @Enviouslordshaxx
      @Enviouslordshaxx 7 років тому

      You mean a monolift? Because technically every squat involves a rack

    I'm a fan and all but I'd rather take advice from someone 150 to 160 lbs that can squat 400, 500 or 600 lbs if that's even possible
