Would be cool if you guys had someone present from the ozark chinquapin foundation. American chestnut is mentioned here and there in these presentations and the ozark chinquapin is almost as large as the American chestnut, and they’ve developed blight resistant trees using only native remnant populations. They’re doing small scale restoration work. Would be interesting to hear.
