Unless I'm mistaken, the optional training courses were originally in CoD4's alpha but were removed in the full release and were restored in the Remastered version.
I have the game showing the disturbing content and I just ran the mission itself and stood in front of the truck and it didn't go off. And the Davis Family Vacation scene followed right after to be sure.
There is something that bothers me to this day if this is a British campaign how come we are using American weapons instead of British weapons like the AWP sniper rifle and SA 80 series of rifles
UKSF such as SAS did use Colt Canada C8 SFW, a carbine based from AR15 platform, so it makes sense to included M4A1 during SAS missions. The sniper rifles are true (excluding M82) because they are American made that didn't purchased by any UK armed forces.
Because the games are made by Americans right? Also it is stupid but licensing. And to be fair UK special ops units use some or all of the same stuff American units do. Whether it's the same exact or license copies is probably down to choice and what the U.K. MOD authorizes but regardless it's something that always bugged me, that and why TF-141 didn't really have American operators who were part of the main crew. Like we had Griggs for one game, but he was Marines, not SEALs or Green Berets or Delta operating with the UK SAS guys, all while being lead by a U.S. General🤷
I knew about the running course in the OG MW, even running it for fun, but I never knew about the explosives course. Cool how they made them optional objectives for that mission.
@@USADroopyMeat1099 Don't forget how in that training mission, in both OG and remaster, minus the M16A4 with the M203, you only use German weapons. G36c, USP 45, MP5, all German. I know they're all a part of NATO, but seriously, give us proper British weapons for the SAS.
I served in artillery and the grenades in howitzers also have the same mechanic to it EDIT: the grenade needs to spin a few times in order to be primed for explosion. This safety mechanism sends the grenade to safe distance, so it doesn't explode immediately right next to the cannon and its crew, especially in the case where the grenade makes light contact with something like tree branch
It took me 17 years to realise why sometimes grenade launcher doesn't explode because they have safe arming distance, this could be from the original game but they removed due to time constraint?

@@BobHairEnjoyer Oh yeah my bad. Lemme fix
And no, it explodes when you enable the "Don't show disturbing content" option.

Oh okay
I think the most interesting little detail was Soap having the pistol in MW2... such a cool little detail i never noticed before

Because it’s a game and you have to have the licenses for those specific guns

British SOF don’t use their own weapons because they’re dog shit. It’s accurate
Because british guns sucks

Another thing that bothers me to this day American weapons in British campaign what is this

@@inductivegrunt94 yeah I am with you on that the remaster has one job ONE JOB it’s like what gives then what was the point then
It's fun how you always find some hidden stuff or details every day, keep it up man!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Unlike the bait and switching in marketing promos etc in most of the cod titles believe me I know
1:37 got me
3:43 the drunk guy sounded a lil bit similar to demoman when hes drunk
I never knew that grenade launchers have minimum distance needed to explode
it does make sense as if they didn't... well you know what would happen, but im glad you learned something new 👍
In real world, it is a safety features from grenade launcher to prevent the unintentional injury to the grenadier.

very weird seeing abrams in the SAS grounds, kinda silly there was no actual Challenger 2/3 model in the remaster
He 7:35 he looks like the villian in Ghosts, i forgot his name.
Rorke
Weird thing's that i remember the truck exploded after it was shot down in the London mission
That pistol in soap's holster is a nice detail
Is that the same Mac that got hit in Ultimatum mission?
Oh to be SAS with the M16 and 203. Scud hunter drip
Without British weapons licenses for the SA 80 and AWP sniper rifle
