    Slide error at 3:36 - The slide should say "BAD BOARD - Big sizing scheme" and then "GOOD BOARD - small sizing scheme"
    When the board is good for you, you're betting often for a small size. When the board is bad for you, you're betting infrequently for a big size.

      I saw that error, but then later in the video on board 7624 (good board for us) supposedly we would bet small and the sizing that shows are 75% 133%, which in my opinion are big sizing, right?, it shouldn't be quite the opposite?

    I actually just learnt about attacking the PFR check back last week, I've been attacking it relentlessly so this video was perfect to help understand when to do it and also the overbet probe bet is something I haven't been doing and makes a ton of sense. Appreciate it these videos are gold.

    I for one, much appreciate the normal flow of a conversation, as opposed to a bunch of jump cuts where the guy never takes a breath or has a moment to pause. It completely kills the flow - and for what? -To shave off 2 minutes and 30 seconds on a 20 minute vid? Makes no sense why everything should be so jammed together like that. I really love the channel and the insight. I just long for normal conversation instead of a non-stop verbal barrage from start to finish with no breaths and no pauses for reflection.

    I have a hand example that probably relates to a number of concepts that have been discussed that I'd appreciate your analysis. Where should I post that?

    Great to have you guys back for season 3! Quick clarification - can’t you also have a probe on the flop technically? In OOP aggressor spots (LJ vs BTN SRP), if LJ checks, BTN can technically probe (I prefer using Gary’s “stab” lol 😂) right?

    • @mbradycf
      @mbradycf Рік тому +1

      that's classified as a "float bet" -- probes can only be made by the out of position player and only on the flop and turn.

    I wouldn't say the others you mentioned mis-defined "probe bet" but rather that the definition has changed.. I head the term used as a small bet in this same situation when you kids were in diapers lol

    • @mbradycf
      @mbradycf Рік тому +1

      fair point especially considering "probe" is a word with an intuitive meaning that matches those old definitions. Those old definitions were far behind though.

    In the first example, on 762r, turn 4, if we choose to bet very frequently as OOP, do we still go for the 75% pot, it seems rather big size
    Does it have anything to do with large SPR? so the definition of betting small on the turn is different with betting small on the flop

    When discussing the probe range of 7624, Gary seemed to ignore that you don't get here with some hands because you donked the flop with them. Shouldn't you have a significant donking range on 762? Do we really get a chance to probe with 76 or did we usually bet it on the flop?

    • @mbradycf
      @mbradycf Рік тому +2

      Gary will have to weigh in, but I don't think there's much of a donking range on 762 - definitely not vs the BTN, and it'll likely be a small enough range to just check range instead. If it was 764 vs UTG, I could see there being a significant donking range.
      Either way, though, we definitely wouldn't donk with 100% of 76 combos on either of those boards.

      @@bobsburgers8885 @mbradycf is correct, the boards we want to lead out on after defending the BB are the boards that we have a signficant nut advantage on, so 762 not so much, but 643 we have some leads, 642 etc. Not too many boards BB vs BTN, but as Mike says, BB vs MP/EP we see way more leading on 753 etc. There will almost always be a flopped straight when we have a leading range!
      Lastly, I thought about how to approach this episode, and I'm of the opinion that a lot of people watching this will play against players who have no leading range, they'll just check to the aggressor. When that happens, everything changes, and the BTN will cbet a whole lot less frequently. This isn't a true image of a GTO strategy or the solver, but it is far closer to what most viewers will face, and therefore will help them a lot more :)

    11:06 7624 board should be small sizing scheme, but why are we have a single size probe strategy of 75%? this is quite big. 19:45 what overbet size do you recommend for bad boards? b133?

      It would be fun to see a player at a live casino table call out "bet 75% pot", expecting the dealer to then tell them exactly what that amount is...
      Player: Bet 75% pot!
      Dealer: Ok, pot is 32 now, 75% is 24. Bet is 24.
      Player: I learning my bet verbalization from playing PLO
