The COVID1619 Project 30 Second Trailer

June 2nd, 2023- First trailer for THE COVID 1619 PROJECT by SIFTMEDIA 215 Collective in Philadelphia, PA. SIFT (Sisters in Film & Television) is a media arts collective of Black and Latinx Women Identified socially conscious filmmakers.
An anthology of four views on the intersection of race and the global COVID19 pandemic. Each Philadelphian reveals their personal story of how they moved from fear, sadness or rage in the era of the pandemic and the George Floyd protests, to a place of service and mutual aid in their communities in dealing with the trauma of COVID-19. The short films are produced by independent filmmakers who are members of SIFTMedia 215 Collective.
Featuring interviews with (in order of appearance in the trailer) Toni T, Shakira King, Terrill Haigler, Nya Patrinos and Keith Hodges.
