No. The sway bar links will make noise in 2 and 4 wheel drive. When your on smooth terrain it's not so bad, as soon as it gets rough, you'll hear it. The rattle your hearing around 30-40km is the drive shaft. It's very common on the 4 seat units. Can Am is supposed to be coming out with a fix for the problem. @@outdoormaddnesstv well after tonight I can say I am pissed off at can am! Upon mounting my winch on my 2023 commander I discovered the plate is held onto the frame by some crappy inserts that someone completely over tightened. The inserts was spinning with the bolt and the insert is completely sealed inside of tubing so there is no way to lock onto it. I had to used a pry bar to apply tension just to remove the bolts. Now I have to brainstorm on how to better secure the plate as there is no place to drill or tap new bolts. I am so disappointed!

Hey Frank! I believe only the four seat models are having that issue due to the length of the drive shaft. There's a set screw that will back out if they didn't apply Loctite on it at the factory. Whenever I'm outdoors I'm happy! that's why I laugh and why I started this channel, to show people how much fun you can have outside, no matter what your doing!! Anytime I can put a smile on someones face and help them enjoy the the outdoors it make me feel awesome!!!
Ive heard the fan sound is a wire making contact with the fan. I think someone poorly put your unit together.
They did. That's why I got rid of it! Thanks for watching!!
@@outdoormaddnesstv what did you end up with after the can am? I have talked to some people I know and they swear by can am and think that you most likely got the lemon..... the tech was hungover during assembly lol. But the fact that can am would not acknowledge the problem is really concerning for me.
I got a Kawasaki Teryx. Maybe I did get a lemon but so many people are having the same issues, even on the 2023 units. After Can Am told me nothing was wrong, I was done. Especially after I found the problem. I hope yours turns out to be a better unit than mine.@@dgilbertbigd
That's Can Am for you. Always making thins complicated.@@dgilbertbigd
There's always a lemon out of the bunch
Lemon? How about lemons! In fact, it's not about lemons, it's about build quality! I recently had a salesman at Temecula Motorsports tell me that "Can Am is one of the cheapest built side by sides" Even CF Moto has better build quality then Can Am. Thanks for watching Adam!
Good information 👍
Hello Sir. Im interested in this rig but i hear they have a driveshaft clank issue too. Do you know 2023 fixed this issue?
Hey Frank!
I believe only the four seat models are having that issue due to the length of the drive shaft. There's a set screw that will back out if they didn't apply Loctite on it at the factory. Not sure if Can Am fixed the problem with the 2023. Check with the service dept to see if Can Am released a bulletin on it. Lets hope they will be honest with you. Thanks so much for watching!!
I have the 700 dps model 2 seater, I sometimes get the clank sound only when I accelerate from a stop and only here and there.
I really hope that's the only problem you have @@dgilbertbigd
There's a tool to take those rivets out it's not that hard
Hmm I have a 2023 commander xt 700 and it runs great
My father and father n law has can ams and there’s always something wrong with them. Over priced junk. Meanwhile all I do with my 12 year old grizzly is turn the key and go. 🤷🏻♂️
Your right! nothing but junk! Yamaha builds some of the most reliable ATV's on the planet, good for you! Thanks for watching, and don't forget to subscribe!!
Captain Clark ‼️
...think you dont even need them in the front!? remember wildcat didnt have them !
Your right! I just looked at my Wildcat and it only has them in the back. Thanks for reminding me!
Sound like a roulette wheel
If you can't work on it yourself... Your S.O.L.. These big toys are not car Quality.
Feel free to take your helmet off anytime 😳
Lot of whining in this vid. Is this your first sxs?
No whining, just facts. And no, this was not my first sxs, but it was my first "piece of crap" sxs. I have a 2013 wildcat 1000 that I bought new. I had more problems with the Can Am in one month than I've ever had with my wildcat in 11 years. I also have a 2023 Teryx 800. Not one problem!
Take the helmet off lol
Can Ams are junk!!!
