Get a new lesson every day:
    - drumeo.com
In this lesson, I show you a simple exercise that I like to use in order to get comfortable with a new drumming setup, as well as build speed around the kit. The concept was inspired by a recent lesson with Stephen Goold called "The Purpose Of Paradiddles" which you can check out in the Drumeo Edge members area if you're a member.
Remember, speed is useless without control. Use this as a tool to build technique, endurance, and most importantly: CONTROL!
P.S. Sorry about the Rick Roll in the beginning, but I had to do it :) I don't think I'm a superstar drum educator, nor am I endorsed or sponsored by Booster Juice haha!
BIG thanks to all my gear providers:
    Sean from Yamaha Drums Canada
    Andrew from Paiste USA
Larry and Jim from Evans and Pro-Mark
    Ronn from Dunnett Drums

Just realized that for those of you who don't skip the ad, you actually may think this was sponsored by Booster Juice and not a joke to try and RickRoll you... Well, it wasn't sponsored. I had just got back from there for lunch and needed to film these lessons so I brought it on camera with me and this was the result. It is very good juice, but I am in no way professionally affiliated with them and they didn't pay me to do this, I just enjoy their product.

Drumeo Are you guys endorsed by any other companies than Paiste and Evans? Like any drum manufacturer like yamaha or casey cause I see those brands in a lot of your vids. Just curious

Beautiful Jared. As a very broke drummer I can't afford to purchase any thing from your website but the you-tube uploads that you produce are keeping me drumming. Many thanks.

Jared, I love you! You're so articulate in your lessons and calm, as well as clear spoken. I've been looking for this type of lesson for a while, and really making my paradiddles mean something on my kit when practicing. Thank you.
