how amazing .thanks .this was very useful to sharethe tips about using the hand saw.Yes can you please do similar ones using common tools like how to use the sqaures, how to measure various angles like 30 deg 45 deg 60 degs using the square, how to use measure the angle of the slope on a cut surface, how to use calipers ,how to use the drill ,how to use various screws (5screws),how to use impact driver ,how to use sander etc.All ways thinking that the DIYer is cash strapped to get sophisticated tools! Much appreciate you for your wonderful knowledge about sawing. I really liked the part when you said the cutting happens in pushing not in pulling .i was not told about this in my surgical career!best wishes
I think a few episodes on getting good fixings into walls would be great! I've sorta got the hang of it now, but struggled for ages. It can be really difficult - especially in the UK where a wall could be brick, cinder block, timber frame... and the plaster could be plasterboard, dot and dab, lathe & plaster, full skim plaster... And multiple variations...! Not to mention the intimidating and endless variety of wall fixing options!
my particular issue is that the saw gets ''stuck'' and there is an impact because it stucks on me while i'm doing the motion. I,ve tried going gradually on force to see if i can get a feel of the technique where there is a sweet spot and you feel almost no resistance and it cuts great, but i don't seem to get the hang of it and i'm seeking more of an explanation of the angle and the motion, is it a subtle curved motion? or is it simply straight? When it gets stuck, is it maybe because i slightly change the angle mid motion and i get a teeth planted in?
Well made. Short, concise, with a lot of info.
Brilliant well presented information for the beginner
