I had NOOOO idea he could sing! I feel ya gurl...with the emotions and stuff!! Lol. I think that after one goes through a certain type of pain (which was 2023 for me), one can identify and connect with it right away. I felt his pain throughout the entire song, even in the subtleties of his singing. I'm so happy for him and I think you're right. He seems healthier and happier.
He also won the first season of The Masked Singer (and he did Stevie Wonder for the Epic Rap Battles of History (vs. Wonder Woman).

He covered War Pigs by Black Sabbath as well. I love Black Sabbath and expected to not like his cover but it was very good 😊

Hey Britt I never heard of T-Pain and I like you listen to new artist to broaden my musical horizons. This reminds me of Teddy Pendegrass from the 70s. I’m 67 and it’s very soulful. When I saw he covered War Pigs, it brought me to his On Top Of The Covers show. Seriously, watch it and watch it again. I cried for whatever reason. He pulled the tears out of me 💖

T Pain has a great voice. If you ever saw the Epic Rap Battles of History, he does Stevie Wonder (vs. Lily Singh's Wonder Woman) and does a great job. I think it's more that the autotune let him carve out a niche to be noticed. He also won first season of The Masked Singer.
