Discussing the Colors and Terrain Features of a Topographical Map
Dave Canterbury make Land Navigation Easy
Dave, absolutely 💯 loving this series! Please don't stop with the knowledge to make us all better humans! Thank you sincerely, for sharing this knowledge free to us common folk who will never not be common, but have the will and skill but not the cash! To the Next Kephart, Canterbury, Etc... the greats of this nation!
Thank you Mr. Canterbury. This is a very well explained video, concerning Landnav. All too many people using maps don't fully understand them. Your explanation is direct, clear and effective. Cheers.
Learning more from you everyday! Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding Teaching on Navigation Dave in an easy to understand video. Fantastic Series .
Excellent video Dave 👍
Absolutely loving this series! The depth of instruction is second to none
This is an amazing series!!
I've also seen the term gulch used on maps here out west. Gulches seem to be huge draw like areas that can have all of the terrain features mentioned in this video but the entirety of the gulch falls within major ridge lines on three sides of that makes sense.
Really enjoying this series. Thank you Dave.
Thanks Dave
Good video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Dave is the King
Ill send you a copy of my map of Camp Everglades. It's just a blank piece of blue paper.
I’m looking for a smarter way to mop…Dave…help me Dave!!!
Everyone gets Ridge wrong. A Ridge is not the what 99% of people say it is.
I understand some would call a ridge a gentle Spur with low ground on 3 sides but I’m not in agreement with that
let’s just hope who ever is left made plenty of copies on paper of maps ….
Thanks Dave
