Back around 1960 a contractor brought in a D6 with a FLECO canopy to remove the top soil of a couple of fields in our neighborhood to make way for some housing projects. Since then the D6 has always been one of my favorite tractors.

Nice old D6 looks like a 29 cable control on back looks huge on back of D6!
Steering clutches are out of adjustment when under a hard load one track will slip. Never try to steer when digging.

The operator looks like he's riding a chopper motorcycle :) . the blade controls could be cut for the operator to keep the elbow in the holder.

On push cycles he steers WAY TOO MUCH!!.... wearing the steering clutch discs and throw out bearing right out....

Looks like the steering cluches are getting hot , because sometimes hes pushing almost nothing and the doser is wanting to stop.
