Here a tip replace the front roll bag with a sea to summit M event bag that way you can carry your complete sleep system in one place … ie sleeping bag tent air pad pillow base camp clothes wash kit etc and that spare tube just tape it under the water bottle above the crank .. the stem bags use for your rain jacket and down jacket ..other one for snacks easy access while riding dont have get of the bike or change the volume of front roll bag … rear bag just food and cook set .. look at powersocks you like them and more compact than the shoes you carry great for water crossing and base camp
I tend to pack my tent separately from the rest of my sleep system to make sure any moisture (dew/rain) is kept away from the sleeping bag. Important if you just want to get up and go in the morning
Pretty sleek looking setup there! Nice! I see more and more people using the titanium sporks and I somehow I just can't force myself into liking them. The spoon bit is a bit too small for my liking so I run a foldable metal one from Decathlon. Not as light but it's just right in terms of mouth-feel :D
Got the same pipe dream 200 for the pass 4 years it really good and will last temp rating is about 7 c i taken it down to 0c with down jacket and down hat .. the air pad sucks failed then failed then failed again replace it when you get a chance
@@GriffKane after 15 different air pads only one that hasn’t fail in 4 years for me is Insulated Air Core Ultra it not expensive good r rating never a seam problem not even a puncture … bigagnes
2 x 750ml bottles plus filter pump (unused on this trip, I was able to refill) and I cover the two food bags at the end ua-cam.com/video/MBr-_OUW22Y/v-deo.htmlm20s

Hey Gareth, great vid, nice to see how other bikepackers do it, always come away learning something. Subbing to keep up with your adventures 👍🚵♀️
I loved it when you brought out a titanium spork in between biking repair tools. Great video!! :)
Yeah, I might get the tools covered in old porridge.

Try Fidlock bottles and a Tailfin rear carrier.

Great video! Do you know how much your kit weighs?
No, I’ve never weighed it, but I can lift the whole rig over a farm gate if I need to, so it’s not too heavy…
So almost no water and no food at all?
